This is an awesome movie. However it's obviously that The Rock, Dwayne Johnson is not the same appearance as past Hercules, he still plays an awesome Hercules. Story line is heroic and not to lengthily.

The Rock has become a decent actor I like the scorpion king movie and this journey was a little more emotional with the storyline of his slaughtered family carries you in suspense to you reach the end

Another movie I went into with high hopes. There was an earlier Hercules movie I didn't even waste time watching, it starred Kellan Lutz. I thought it looked like it would be a weak movie. After seeing all of the lead up to this version, I was more positive. It looked grittier, more real(for a fictional movie). I would say the biggest disappointment for me was the extraordinarily bad writing. I know The Rock is an electrifying personality. But, even in a role like this, less is a lot more! His muscle and physicality would have spoken volumes in a part like this. Sad.

I LOVED THE MOVIE, OF COURSE IT WAS IN TECHNICOLOR 3-D. THE STORY WAS INTRIGUING AND THE ACTING WAS SUPERB. I AM CONSTANTLY AMAZED AT THE BREATH OF 'THE ROCK'S ACTING ABILITY. I WOULD PAY TO SEE THIS AT THE THEATER

It was great enjoyed it!.. I always like Dwayne's performance and he did an awesome job. I just expected more graphics and entertainment. It did have quite some action. Overall a great movie though.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson stars in Hercules, as Hercules a missionary hired by a king to help advance his army in a battle against a oponnent practicing black magic . Overall good film not a must own.

I really like to watch The Rock in movies and this is no exception to the good movies out there. He shows his skill as an actor. I watch this movie all the time.

Critics have not been very kind to this movie. To me, it was a 2 1/2 to 3 star movie worth its price (about $5). Since there are no halves, I gave it the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars because we always enjoy the Rock in action--and he does good acting here. The plot was the weakest link in the film; however, the idea of presenting Hercules as a "mere" human going around with his band of mercenaries selling the idea that he has mythical powers in order to be hired by different factions was a good one. It ends in a way that could mean a sequel--uhmm, will see.

A really fun action movie. Plain and simple. I doesn't require you to ponder your or its existence or find some hidden meaning. Campy performances and over the top action, but all in the best way.

This version of Hercules is a much better telling than the greek myth telling. The Rock as Hercules was the best choice to go with. Its as if The Rock was meant for this role this whole life.

This was an entertaining movie, good special affects but it had a lot of hype before being released and I just didn't find it all that. Glad I bought it and didn't pay for a late night seat.

If usually find movies like these to be cheesy but this one was really good. It had a good plot and what I most liked was that it showed a different version of the story of Hurcules.

I liked the movie, but I would have liked to see Dwayne Johnson do more of the traditional Hercules fight scenes. He's definitely got enough muscles to pull off a strong Hercules character.

its a good older movie, the Rock is great ,if you like these period piece movies you will like this one!

This was very well done movie. I enjoyed the subtle humor written into the story. The acting was good and the action scenes very good. Interesting plot. The Rock makes one good Hercules.

Dwayne Johnson doesn't disappoint as the mythological Hercules with a new spin on the old story. Updated it for the current generation which means plenty of action and lots of special effects. Plus sidekicks that are never boring and even funny on occasion.

The Rock did a great job with the movie itself. However, we have seen the story too much. Way better than the other Hercules movie which was release the year prior but still lacking.

Hercules is a good movie to watch if you're looking for action and awesome storylines. The acaction and character development could be better but it's enjoyable for the whole family.

Despite his injury's before filming the movie he still managed to bring his best ... Definitely would recommend this movie it has a bit of a twist from what you've seen in the past.
