This is the better of the two current movies. Plot execution is better than the other Hercules.

I have not watched this movie all the way through yet, but I have enjoyed the parts I have watched.

Was worth buying! loved the movie and acting. showed a side of Hercules that you don't really see.

Fun to watch in 3d! Good movie and worth a watch especially if you have a 3d capable tv.

I first saw this film less than a month ago, but had to watch it again to review it because I couldn' remember a thing about it. As with his 60's predecessor in the role, Steve Reeves, physique rather than acting ability was the main criterion for casting Kellan Lutz. Fortunately little acting was required. What little plot there was served only as an excuse for one combat after another. The slaying of the Nemean Lion was the only one of the legendary labors of Hercules that made it into the film. Although Greek boxing could be brutal, gladiatorial combats (which originated in early Roman funeral rites) were not found in ancient Greece. The target audience for this film, though, would be the attendees at the Colosseum.

I didn't really know this movie it was on my dad's list. but it ended up being pretty good.

Great little action picture about Hercules. An interesting take on a classic about Greek mythology. Roxanne McKee & Gaia Weiss are two new interesting actresses who deserve more starring roles. The 3D effects were very good, especially when hercules pulls down some pillars he's chained to then whips the big stones around killing his enemies.

This is yet another version of Hercules but it captures pretty much the entire story of it.

It was a good movie about Hercules and his brother and the struggles that came with his life.

I am a huge fan of Greek mythology and purchased the movie without knowing anything about it. I don't recall any advertising for this movie in the theaters. It was okay, the plot was somewhat lacking and unbelievable, but the special effects were pretty good.

This was a good movie. Scott Adkins plays the king role well. His fight scenes were great.

History with imagination is most always good, refreshing look at an old story.

While the quality of Cutthroat Island was balanced by its stars, it seems to be weaker here. It got overshadowed by the Rock's take on Hercules, which I enjoyed. But this movie is okay...and only just. Don't expect anything masterful.

I like the new version of the Hercules I will recommend this to my brother to buy it.
