I never finished watching the original series because it just became dry with the writer's strikes and all happening around that time. This is the redemption that the original series needed. Had some great cameos from the original heroes but also gave us some new heroes and villains. The stories were great and all connected. The lines were well written and delivered. I hate to see it only be a one season deal though. It needs at least one more season of expansion on the story lines. Bring Back the Heroes!

The show was so good. At first, i thought I was not going to like it because it was a slow begining but soon, it started going at a good, intriguing speed and that's when I knew this show was awesome. Love Heroes and I loved the mini series! I hope they continue the Heroes Saga somehow! Highly recommended.

Who says a sequel is less than the original ? I missed a few episodes of "Heroes Reborn" while i was in the hospital ,but really liked the ones that I saw before going in. Just had to get this blu ray to get the complete story.WOW ! What a well thought out,written and acted series. Enjoyed every minute of it and have watched it several times.The extras were very good,the deleted scenes added nuances.

Quality of the product is great, and the show itself was on par for what I expected. Die hard Heroes fans will love some aspects, and hate some others. If you enjoyed the original show I'd give this a watch.

THE HEROES TV SERIES WAS AWESOME & THEY HAVE CAME OUT WITH AN AWESOME FOLLOW-UP SERIES TO IT AS WELL. THIS SECOND SERIES, PRETTY MUCH PICKS UP FROM WHERE THE FIRST SERIES LEFT OFF. THIS SERIES & THE FIRST ONE ARE ONES TO HAVE IF YOU HAVE SEEN THEM ON TV & ARE GREAT FANS OF THE SHOW. IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM BEFORE, THIS SERIES WILL GET YOU HOOKED & MAKE YOU WANTING MORE....

This does not disappoint the HEROES fan. The old and new heroes alike create new drama that will change the future of humanity. A MUST see.

This is called an event series rather than season 5 of Heroes. It's an abbreviated 13 episode series picking up from an event that ended Heroes season 4. It has some great ideas & some great casting. I just feel that if they would've had more time & episodes to develop, it could've been a really good launching point for bringing back the Heroes franchise. Some of the original characters do return, but most of the focus is on the new characters & their story surrounding an event that could end the world.

This is just as exciting and good as the original. Some of the same characters appear and there are new characters with new abilities. I hope this series continues.

The newest season is a return to what made the first season great, however some episodes do fall flat. The Mexican story line is just stupid with lame characters.

I never got into the original Heroes series till 5 years later and then I saw why everyone was so enthusiastic about the first season and how it declined for the rest of the other seasons but I loved them despite the critic's, so when the new series was announced I thought "kool next generation type story."

Good reboot attempt of a great show. However, it just was not the same as the first two seasons of Heroes. As a stand alone "event" it works much better.

I am a fan of the original Heroes series. I was happy to see it being continued but am sad it is being canceled after the first season. So I had to purchase this to complete my series collection even though it will be left as a cliffhanger.

Not as good as the first iteration of this series , but worth a visit if you liked it the first time around.

Was hoping for more action - too much background info with each episode - sad that it had to end again.

I enjoyed the original show and this had some of the same elements as the original.

This is a great show if you are into super heroes! To begin with, when the network cancel the las heroes show I was devastated my favorite show was gone! Now it's back and it's kicking love it!

Difficult transition from original to new season. Moved a bit slow for me.

A must addition to any Blu Ray collection that has 1-4 already
