I am a huge LOST fan. A friend told me to watch Heroes. The 3rd season is starting soon, so I figured I should watch season 1 and 2 so I would get ready. PLUS, season 3 of Heroes will be able to hold me over until season 5 of LOST starts in Janaury 2009! Heroes, season 1 is great. I watched the entire season in 3 days. The show is great. Its definitely not even close to how awesome LOST is, but its still worth watching.

I recently purchesed this show on DVD cause I heard it was really good. I have not been disappointed. I dont know if I will watch it on tv because I watch alot of other shows and will keep this as my summer DVD show. The story is about people who have started to develop powers such as flying or time travel, think X-men. It is a story about not only the power but self discovery of the way these people deal with these powers.

This is such an amazing show and the DVD is wonderful. The design of the box is great with a bunch of cartoon pictures inside. I loved every minute of it, but then I'm a big fan of the show. What was probably the most interesting was the unaired pilot. Also the deleted scenes from some of the episodes were extremely interesting and made you think. All in all this is definately an amazing DVD set.

Ok so did you grow up watching X-men? Well as a child I loved the show. THis is the NEW super hero show. It reminds me of X-men except it's actually better and its something that cant go unseen. So its about a group of people who star developing special powers and trying to find out who they are and what their goal in life is. Its a great show so i suggest everyone go buy it. XD

This is one of the most exciting and addictive TV series I have ever watched. The picture quality is excellent, the story line is intriguing, and the characters are well developed so that you actually like and care about them. I highly recommend Heroes to viewers of all genres. Deleted scenes are cool and the audio commentary is interesting as well, especially on disk one.

This is a great collection of an amazing TV show! The first season of Heroes was filled with many episodes and the complete season is a great deal for the price! Being a narrative based show, you can watch past episodes again and again to gain more insight. Let's hope the writers' strike ends soon so more episodes will come!

this show is one of the best out right now. think smallville except all the meteor freaks are on the same side. it truly is great story telling and i can't get enough of hiro and ando's story. the special effects are better than most tv shows. the characters are well rounded and same pretty realistic...except that stripper.

If you are a comic book fan & can appreciate a good story line with multiple characters and timelines interwoven together, you'll love Heroes. It has been a while since I've found a series this refreshing. I can't wait for the next season.

must say, I have been pretty excited about this upcoming series. A TV show about superheroes with complex plots and a large cast, not to mention the fact that it isn’t a hokey send up like some past series – Birds of Prey comes to mind pretty fast – all these things had me jazzed for the pilot. The show really hit the ground running, unfortunately a lot of the episode had already been seen in the previews. For me, that made it a bit anti-climactic. The good thing was the introduction of a villain character and revelation as to who in the cast he has connections with. This “villain” is sure to be a large part of the series as we see how these people actually got their powers.

Get ready to sit back and do nothing but watch Hero. You'll fall in love with each of the characters as they embark on their adventure to save ... the world. You won't want to stop and you'll probably lose some amount of sleep over this. Enjoy this series with some friends ... it's more fun.

Heroes explores in a realistic way the moral conundrums that would be faced by those with real-world "superpowers". It's can be a little campy at times, but there are enough characters to keep you interested. Excellent as a discussion starter for high schoolers or parish youth groups.

I started watching the first season as soon as it came out on dvd. Boy am I glad I finished it in time for Season 2! I absolutely fell in love with the characters, especially Hiro. The special effects are very cool, and I can imagine they would look great in High-def. Highly recommended!

heroes dvds are awsome,with all the extras and outakes,and never scene 73 min,preview and thats awsome...

This show is amazing. Such a refreshing new concept and wonderfully directed. The only complaint is that the season probably could have been shortened to around 15 episodes and deleted a lot of the filler. Network TV tends to stretch out their storylines for a full 20+ episode season.

If you havent seen this series, I highly recommend this set. You will be hooked with the first episode. If you are already a fan, then I recommend it because you can go back and watch episodes and pick up on things you might have missed since there are so many things going on!

I had missed this whole season because I work at night. When I finally bought it I was so pleased. I thought TV had gotten so bad that there was no hope of saving it. This show gives me hope! It's about time they brought back a good fantasy instead of all reality TV.

The episodes are so addicting with rich stories and engaging characters. Each episode leaves you wanting more and waiting impatiently for more. The characters interplay so wonderfully together, both the good and the bad. Season Two needs to come out on DVD NOW!!!!!

This box of dvd's was great -- no scratches, no flaws, the print on top of each dvd was perfect, not one blemish! The box itself was also well put together, seems very sturdy and can stand the test of time. Highly recommend this product.

-Heroes Season 1 was GREAT! -Definately worth the money. -It was extremely addicting; I couldn't watch just one episode at a time. -Great storyline that kept me guessing I'm looking forward to buying Season 2 when it comes out!
