    Even though this does have some history, it has some comedy. Which makes it not boring and you don't have to sleep in History class. C;

    Love Hetalia. This is a great series. It takes so long for the Japanese stuff to make it to the U.S. But once it's here, yowsa! Need more!

    Hetalia, the series about anthropomorphic countries who engage themselves to the Second World War. Now, I'm alright with the concept, but basically, Hetalia is basically just a gag series. And not even a full lengthed one at that. The jokes are silly, and most of them have to do with poking fun at the stereotypes that the nations have acquired. The other ones have to do with... um... tension between different powers.... did I mentioned that almost all countries are represented by men? So, if you're into yaoi or gag series, you'll probably like this series. But if you're someone like me who likes thought provoking (Paranoia Agent, Evangelion, Monster, etc) and gorgeous (think Miyazaki, Gainax, etc.) anime that tends to be outside those two genres, then you'll probably not really get into it. It isn't that I hate Hetalia at all, for what it IS it's alright. But there's really not that much included in this package.... for the price of which you could buy a full lengthed series. There are simply better options out there.
