I expected this set to be a lot better quality then it is. Two of the balls arrived with splits in the plastic. (See picture) The mallets are very light weight and that limits the quality of your hits. Don't waste your money.

Good quality for a great price. Fun for a party, makes a good activity for all ages.

Very impressed with this croquet set. The mallets and wooden balls are really sturdy and will last a long time. I really like that it comes in it's own carrying case, makes it helpful to transport and store. Highly recommend.

Purchased at a great price with lots of family fun provided

Purchased this to teach my kids the old game of Croquet. They loved it! This set was packed neatly and easy to put together. Had my kids pick their colors then screw their sticks together. The wood was descent however one of the sticks screws in and does not lock in place. Other than that this was a great purchase for some family fun.

Not rocket science, but just a good outdoor game whenever it stops raining and warms up a little! Only 4 stars since it only fits inside the included storage bag if you disassemble the handles from the heads of the mallets.

I got this set when it was on sale as a Best Buy Deal of the Day. I have fond memories of playing croquet when I was a kid. Since it got cold, we haven't been able to play it yet. However, my boyfriend had some comments about the quality when he was putting the mallets together. He noticed that 2 or 3 of the mallets didn't thread tightly enough (the stick handle screws into the mallet). The croquet balls are heavy duty though, so they should hold up well over time. This set comes with a nice canvas bag, however, my boyfriend had to use cardboard to help keep the bag from collapsing in on itself. This really isn't a problem, just more of an aesthetic issue.

seems like a nice product for not a lot of money. bought it on a daily deal. haven't used it yet though. bought it as a family Christmas gift and cant use it in winter so we don't know how well it will hold up but there isn't too much that can go wrong with this type of product.

Excellent quality and the storage bag is a bonus. Croquet is a favorite family past time for us and the carrying case makes it easy to take anywhere. Most sets come with a stand, which does have its positives, but the carry case I feel is more useful.

We didn't expect too much from this inexpensive croquet set, but we hoped it would be good enough for youngsters to learn with. Overall the set seemed to fit the bill with the exception of the handles. The handles thread into the mallet heads, as many sets do. The threads were very rough and cut so poorly, on both handles and heads, that they could not screw together properly. Some clean up work with some sandpaper and a file, and a liberal coating of paraffin wax on the threads, and the parts did engage. However, two of the mallet heads were so poorly threaded that the handles could not tighten. I considered gluing the handles and heads together but the storage bag is so short that it is necessary to unscrew the pieces to store them in the bag. I gave up and returned the set to Best Buy.

Good price for just to have fun...nothing serious. Quality, its from china..nf said. Bag is too small when assembled. Maybe the idea is to assemble, play, disassemble and put it away. But I dont think doing that it will last long. The handle has one side to be screwed in which will eventually get stripped.
