Great software, but hard to learn, very powerful software for designing a house. Pros is that it comes with a super thick manual, just takes a long time to learn how to use.

I bought this product because I needed to landscape an area in the front yard where I had a tree and shrubs removed. It is necessary for me to submit a diagram to my homeowners association of the small palms, a low retaining wall, and some ground cover including mulch and rocks. I am very familiar with computers and software having built and taught them for years. I have tried for hours to get this program to render what I need. I don't recommend it.

Purchased AOC monitor. Never heard of brand, but it is working just fine. It was easy to set up and has good resolution.

My computer easily met all the listed requirements for this software. However, I had trouble from the very beginning even loading the software. Once it was loaded the program would crash, or would load with missing options. The only thing I would recommend is trying this software only if you have a something like a gaming computer that can handle all the functionality of the software, which I'm assuming was the issue. If that wasn't the problem then the software just doesn't work as they say it does.

This is a great product and very easy to use. If you can turn on your computer and surf the Internet then you will have no problems using this program!

There is a learning curve. You need to read carefully and carefully follow directions

This is my second attempt to use this program. My husband purchased this same program for me several years ago and it didnt work right when too much data was put into the plan. We had plenty of room on his computer so it wasn’t space problems. Since I was purchasing a new computer, I figured I’d treat myself to this new program, hoping they got the kinks out! This was the second program I downloaded after my antivirus so I had plenty room! I began building my house and all went great! The 3D view was better than before. It looked beautiful! After the second day of working on a house plan, suddenly things didn’t work for one room like it did in another room. The walls didn’t go up the same and left gaps, furniture was floating in the air and the roof was in the middle of the plan, when it wasn’t there the day before. I could not correct anything so I deleted and started over. In fact, I did this for four days. That’s how much I wanted this program to work! I’ve had a similar program, many years ago when dial up Internet was king. I made hundreds of plans with it for years and never had this much trouble. I thought that over 20 years later that these programs would be great! After days of battling this issue, I finally called Geek Squad and after a good while on the phone, he found that something was wrong in the program so, I was able to return it. I won’t be buying this program again. Strike two is the most I allow! :(.

Program is NOT for beginners and is not plus and play. Once mastered it is Gggggrrreat!

This program is slow and complicated to navigate. There are some things you can do with it but some of the harder doesn't work well. The program also freezes up often

I'm very happy how I can finally create home and business plans with 3D views as well!

Advertisement looked great promised to do what I needed but not at all easy to use and software keeps shutting down.

With a little work this software will do what ever you want it to do. I have been able to create several different variations of a house plan and landscaping. You can use it at it's simplest version right away, but it will take some studying and practice to use the advanced features. It is well worth your time to get to the advanced features.

The program is a few years old. And is need of an overhaul. Kind of hard to use.

This software has been discontinued and no longer supported by company and no updates. Buyer beware. Two newer versions since then. Appliances 2014. Best Buy would not refund because package was opened. Did not find out it was no longer supported until the box was opened.

I picked this up in store. The software is user friendly and loaded with various architectural elements for creating homes from landscaping ideas to specific structural details. Very good buy! This would be especially helpful for those in contracting, landscaping, or architectural students.

The ipod is great but the salesman made the experience better!

It is hard to understand....probably is very good for people with engineer or architect degree....

Nice to have a tool that can do all those home projects like decks, landscaping, paint and more. Like the ability to "try" things on to see what may work even if you don't do it yourself it can help in working better with your contractor.
