I have always enjoyed Best Buy merchandise especially when it comes to movies. In the future, I do hope they get the Kevin Smith movie Dogama. Other than that, I love all the great deals.

This show is awesome! You really get to feel for the characters as they come to terms with the fact that the world that they knew is gone forever, with an anime twist of course!

I'm not a huge anime fan but I enjoy this series - has a cool story. I watched it years back when it first came out and was happy best buy had it for purchase.

I really liked this anime, I really hope they create the second season soon. Lots of chatter online.

this is a great anime i wish they can make the season 2

Some of the angles are completely pointless, basically just to give a view up skirt or something. I know other anime do this, but most here just jump to the view for no other reason just to show it. They could at least do a pan to that view based on movement in the scene. It's so out of place that it is kind of comical to me. The rest of the anime is well put together. There could easily be another 5 seasons if someone were to pick them up. The only downside of the blueray is that I wish it came with the OVA and some wallpaper extras.

I gotta say I love this anime. I just wish it was longer. I picked this up because it finally went on sale that best buy likes to do with the animes from time to time. If you like zombies and great animation I would recommend this to you.

High School of the Dead is a show about the zombie apocalypse and how a group of high school students survive. It has great suspense and the action will amaze you.

I watched this series when it was on Netflix and I loved it. High school teens killing zombies, what else can be said? The only downside to this release is the lack of special features.

One of my favorite anime's out their. A must buy for anyone looking for a bit of comedy, horror and teen fun in a show. I hope they release a season 2 soon.

It has everything!! HOTD has the combination of funny dialogue, pretty young girls, great fight scenes, and frightening zombies!!

This more than makes up for the lacking later seasons of The Walking Dead when it comes to zombie kills and violence. Such a great show! I just wish there were more episodes.

I originally watched this show on Hulu when it was on; at the time it was subtitled. When I watched it I was instantly hooked and was hoping for it to have a U.S. release so I can add it to my collection. Low and behold there is a release. The english dub isn't bad. I actually think it works very well. I wasn't put off by it. The action is great! Its the stereotypical zombie killing action in that type of genre. The characters are like-able. The story is too; again its the stereotypical survive the zombie outbreak kind of story. And talk about showing fan-service. The jiggly physics they have for the girls is so funny it's great! I've read other reviews of this show where people are put off by it. Not me, I like the fan-service. Again when I watched this in english I did a marathon viewing of the show because it was that good. Anyways, I really like this show. Only 12 episodes on the bluray discs though. No real extras other than trailers for other shows and a clean opening/closing; stuff you get on regular DVDs. Though watching anime in high def is still the best! I'm hoping there's going to be a second season. I highly recommend!

I love this show, I watched it when it was in Japanese only and I loved it. Then I heard that it came out in English and I got even more excited. I know there are a lot of people who don't like the English dubs for anime, but I personally love them. I wasn't expecting the voice acting to be the best, but I was surprised by a few of the actors. If you don't like the English dub, you can always switch the language to Japanese with English subtitles. One thing that is missing are more extras, but even without them, the show is great. If you are a fan of zombies, action, (and fan service), you will most likely enjoy this show.

I should have read the product details better. I recently bought the *actual complete collection* off Amazon, but only the UK/Europe region was available. When I saw this US version for sale, I got excited and wanted to swap them out to make my collection better. When I got this at my doorstep I opened it to see only two discs. Compared to my UK/Europe version (which has 3 bluray discs), this was missing the OVAs - which I don't think should be bought separately. Totally my fault for not reading the product better. I really wish the OVAs were included to truly make this a complete collection. Great show. Beautiful detail, fan service of course, nice colors and artwork, and cool zombies!!
