One of the best anime's i've watched and there's been a lot of them.

H.O.T.D. is a pretty good anime series in my opinion. Started out reading the manga until I found out there was an animated version of it. If you've read the manga as well, you know that it is quite a bit ahead of where the anime leaves off at the 12th episode. This series mixes a zombie apocalypse with a lot of T&A. Surprisingly, what happens in the series is pretty accurate with "similar" situations that have occurred. The survivors have to fight against "Them" as well as dictators who use the events to try to usurp as much power as possible by manipulating others. Guns, zombies, well-endowed women...what's not to love? Sadly, there is no news on a 2nd season being released. The manga has been stopped at chapter 29 for over a year and the anime has not received a green light for another season. Heard reports that the author has been in the hospital as well as the studios saying that the series just hasn't gotten enough attention/made enough money to justify another season. Really hope it continues because it has a ton of potential.

Other than the fan service, it's a great zombie show. Funny, serious, scary, with decent characters. The jock, the nerd and a bevy of beauties trying to survive the zombie hordes. I am not a huge anime fan, but this was a fun show. I think they could have done this just as easily with less well endowed ladies, but then it probably wouldn't be as funny in some parts. I am hoping the second season comes out soon with some additional character development.

Aside from all the "fan-service", which is quite a bit", this anime is just a fun show to watch. I had been curious about it for a while, and decided to look into it. One of the best overall series I have ever seen. The character development is very good and well-balanced. Each person in the story has their own unique background which allows you to better understand their perspectives. The one thing though that I love most in the series is the action. The shootouts and zombie beat downs were awesome. You can't help but laugh and smile when it kicks off. If you are an anime fan and want to see a series that won't disappoint you then give this a try.

when i started watching this anime i thought that it was gonna be another cheessy horror flik with no real world aplications but i was dead wrong after the first episode i had an exciting yet uneasy fealing like the time i first saw resident evil,28 days later,dawn of the dead,and the evil dead series when i get that fealin when im gonna jump outa my seat thats when i know its gonna be good wouldnt recamend for small children but for teens and adults i highly recremend a exelent but for all horror fanatics
