Average 50’s affair
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This musical remake of 1930’s the Philadelphia story is okay I guess but lacked the ‘umph’ That other musicals of that era like my fair lady And Gigi had that pulled you in and actually made you care about the Characters. Honestly I felt nothing for grace kelly’s Plight of having to Choose between her feelings for ex bing Crosby and her future hubby ‘in waiting’ John Lund. Sinatra does his best as a possible suitor but it all seems like more of an excuse to let grace Kelly do her premodonna thing. Some call this a Hollywood classic but I think it’s a “highly society overrated’
