This tablet would be fine for beginners; however if you are a middle-up-through-advanced user, look elsewhere. For starters, this tablet feels cheaply made. It's like the top and bottom of the tablet don't quite fit together. I don't get where they claim this tablet is a 10.1" - it's way smaller than my old tablet. I have a folio that fits a 10.1" and I can't use it because this tablet is too small. When you load a web page, between the tabs, headers, footers and ads, you're left with about 2.5" top-to-bottom of actual, readable content. It also freezes up frequently. This tablet is a very poor substitute for my old tablet, which I absolutely loved (it totally died and would have cost more to fix than it was worth.) If I manufactured this tablet, I certainly wouldn't put my name on the product as I am a very quality-minded person. Why didn't I return it or exchange it? Limited budget. This just proves the old adage "you get what you pay for". I am now saving for a new, much better product. Maybe I'll give this one to my grandchildren to play with.

It has a slot for an SD card but you cannot use the tablet to save anything to it. You can plug it into a computer and move files to the SD card from the tablet or computer that way, but you cannot save to the SD card directly from the table. So if I create a document I can only save it to the internal memory which is kinda dumb. Other than that it is pretty nice.
