Enjoy everyminute with soundbar and subwoofer. You can feel that pump from the woofer. I think it has 3 variety from movie, news. Music.

Bought the HS218 to replace a 5yr old Vizio SB3621n, and after hooking them up side-by-side, I think the nod goes to the older Vizio. The HS218 doesn’t sound as bright, and I had to crank up both the bass and treble to +5 and turn on surround mode to get decent sound. There are only 3 preset listening modes (Music, News, and Movie), which is another limitation. I am using the ARC input so setup was easy. And the front LED display can be turned off with the (very chintzy) remote. I honestly think the HS218 is a $100 unit at best. Don’t set your expectations too high.

For an inexpensive soundbar this is an excellent option to upgrade the speakers that are included with your tv. Very easy to setup as well.

Great soundbar,it works well with my H9G tv,its shows the bar has 2.1 speakers, but it really has 4.1

I bought this soundbar system to compliment my new Hisense 65in TV. The system sounds pretty well. I had it connected through the optical drive cable first. Then I changed it to HDMI arc port. Sounds better this way. The only thing I don't like is the lack of bass. I have changed the surround, equalizer, and bass settings but still no good bass comes through. Not sure if I got a defect unit but otherwise works well enough.

I'll start off by saying that I have owned an Insignia Sound Bar and Subwoofer for about 7 years (a model which Best Buy no longer carries). I paid $50 for that thing and sounds great, is very loud, and has amazing bass. The only downside is that it doesn't have ARC and I wanted something that did, so I wanted to try this one. I have a 65" Hisense TV and set this soundbar up via ARC. It was totally disappointing. The sound output at the highest level was extremely low and there was almost no bass. Even with adjusting all the settings on the sound bar and digital sound settings on the TV (DTS, DD, PCM, etc). I also tried various apps (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Cable TV, and direct bluetooth to my phone). I read the other reviews which said their own TV sounded better than this thing. I didn't want to believe it and thought they were doing something wrong, but actually, they were right. My stock Hisense TV speakers sound better and give off a better, more balanced range of sound. After that, I thought I would ditch the ARC connection and try Optical and Bluetooth to see if that changed anything. Nope, it was just as dull and bland. The soundbar itself also produces a narrow stream of sound, even when set to surround sound. It definitely would not fill a room larger than 100 sq ft. and you won't have a great listening experience unless you are seated directly in front of it. At $200, you are better off buying a cheaper system that would likely sound the same, if not better.

Okay! I absolutley love this sound bar. I was going to but a $1400 sound bar, decided to get this instead. Saved myself $1300, and it sound great. Happy Buyer. Price was what I loved the most.
