You get what you pay for with this TV. All functions run very slow and sometimes freezes all together. I’ve only had it 3 1/2 months. It’s affordable is all I can say good.

the display at the store looked awesome so I purchased one but when I got everything hooked up, turned it on to play some games the quality was very disappointing. I'm guessing I was fooled by the demo mode. returned it and got a qled instead.

I got my H8F last week. The google set up was simple and quick. I also have a sound bar and I normally connect it using a optical card. When I tried to hook it up the TV would not recognize the optical hookup. This was a pain point for me in the set up process. So I found a old HDMI cord and hooked it up using the ARC connection. While not my preferred method it worked well. I am just glad I had a soundbar that had a HDMI hook up and I had a extra cord. The colors are nice for a LCD 4K TV. LCD tv’s often have a hard time getting the darks dark because of the panels backlight. OLED or LED TV’s are localized dimming and will have deeper darks. This TV seems to have found a nice balance or solve for this with darks looking dark. The HDR offers much better color range than my older non-HDR 4K tv. When I use the Netflix google tv app the images look a little fuzzy. This might be that the app navigation is not upscaling well but once I pick 4K content the fuzziness goes away. If you are in the market for a reasonable TV this would be a alright option.

In the box is the 4K android television, power cord, remote with two batteries, two feet for the stand, and an instructional manual. First things first for me, the positives, the biggest one for me, which is not a big one but huge for me since I am on the other side- is being able to purchase and watch movies and music in google play. I love being able to click on the google play movies app and watch already purchased movies with a click on the remote. The next best thing is definitely the 4K quality visual and sound quality. I did notice a more crisper sound and visual aspect of specific 4K movies that I watched. The last top thing that I loved most is the google assistant and google home. I am able to control the television from anywhere in the house which is a great feature for me when switching rooms. I find myself using this television more than any other room in the house now. I forgot to mention that I love the 4 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 USB 3.0 and all of the other external video/audio plugs. For the negatives, I must say that one of the biggest down falls for me was during installation was the power cord placement. All of the other external cords are in an L shape on one side and the power cord was on the other side. I was really hoping to be able to use an existing mount on this television but I have to get a different to accommodate the new placement of the power cord. Another, the remote, I do find myself constantly pressing buttons, fast forwarding-rewinding-stopping whatever I am watching. I sometimes forget that I can speak my commands, so this is not a dealbreaker for me. Another problem for me with this television, is when I download something from the Google Play store, there would be an additional app added to the home screen menu. At times, there would be multiples of the same app. This is also not a dealbreaker but very annoying. (I was able to close all of the apps.) Overall, I love this television and I definitely see myself purchasing more in my near future. I definitely will be recommending to friends and family!

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the tv I had it for 13 months and now it says storage is full. The only programs on it are the factory programs. This tv has a 4 gig internal hard drive. I wished I haven’t wasted the money on purchasing this model and instead purchased the Sony android tv, which I have now the tv is so much better quality and it has a 16 gig hard drive. When I purchased the Sony I was told by a associate at Best Buy the Hisense tv are the most returned because of problems. I guess I should’ve went by the saying you get what you pay for

Tv was awesome for about a month then it started turning itself off switching apps on its own and sometimes it will power off and not turn back on unless you unplug it from the wall and plug it back in

This is my first "smart TV" and Android TV experience. The picture is very clear. The sound is a big upgrade compared to my old TV. The size is great for the living room. Setup was very easy as well as adding our gaming system. I love being able to control everything with one remote and still being able to use Netflix and streaming services as we don't subscribe to cable at all. The only issue we've had so far is the brightness seems to flicker while using our gaming system only. In general this is a great TV for people who use streaming services and want to simplify how they access those services. The thin bezel is a nice look and I would recommend to anyone looking for a first smart TV.

Everytime you want to use the WiFi have to go into the menu and reconnect the WiFi. Also it’s having trouble connecting external speakers, not as straightforward at my Sony or Samsung
