We recently purchased the Hisense Canvas TV for our living room, and we absolutely love it! It solved a major design issue for us. Our 65” TV was mounted over the fireplace, as it was the only logical spot in the room, but we were never satisfied with how it looked. Since this isn’t our main TV room, it was rarely turned on, yet it dominated the space in our open floor plan. We tried using the gallery mode, but the photos didn’t quite fit, so most of the time, it just felt like a big black rectangle on the wall.
Now, thanks to the Hisense Canvas TV, we have beautiful artwork that perfectly ties the room together. Plus, it’s great to be able to use the TV while cooking in the kitchen or during gatherings in the living room for games or parties.
The TV fits flush against the wall, just like a piece of art, and the wires are cleverly hidden. The audio quality is also excellent, which is a big plus since we enjoy using the TV for background music.
We haven’t explored all the various art options that come with the Canvas TV yet, but I’m looking forward to switching them out to keep the room feeling fresh. I’m particularly excited about the ability to upload family photos—I hope it looks more like a portrait and less like a digital frame. We have a Hisense Google TV in our family room, which has a great display, but for the living room, this Canvas TV adds a much-needed formal touch.

Just returned a Samsung frame for this and in glad I did. This tv solved all the problems I had with the Samsung. Great value, great picture, great sound and love all the painting choices it comes with.

The Canvas is pretty nicely done to the extent that my only complaints are minor nuisances. One quirk is that in art mode, the image occasionally flickers such that the image goes black for a fraction of a second. It is not a huge deal since in you're not generally staring at the screen when the TV is in art mode, but it is a little annoying once you begin noticing it. A second quirk is that although it has Google TV, it seems not to work with the infamous "Hey Google" command, which is weird since the Canvas box says "Hey Google" on it. Overall, it is a nice-looking picture at a good price point.

not a sharp picture, but bigger issue is that it has electronic hiccups. look online for comments about no sound. I periodically have to unplug the tv and reset it. shuts off sometimes on its own.
