Great TV when you add a 4K Firestick. The onboard interface of the Hisense is VERY VERY LAGGY. The picture is spectacular, but the delay after pressing the remote is unbearable. Using a Firestick or preferred streaming device makes this TV an 8 out of 10. Don't hesitate to buy. It's way better than the Sony 900H! Much brighter too. The Local Dimming is great also. Cheers!

Swapped a Samsung Crystal UHD tv for this model and I have to say that I love it so far. My only recommendation is to hard wire directly to your router especially if you stream as I do. The picture pops off the page due to the support of the wide color gammit. The picutre is smooth without being too soap oprah-ish. Playing games, mainly Red Read Redemption 2 is awesome. The colors pop right off the screen. There is so muhc more detail that what I am used to. Setup was a breeze (as long as you have an android phone). If not, it may be a little more time consuming. The Google assistant and Alexa support is a nice feature too.

Android TV is the smart interface for this model. It works well with only minor hiccups. However, currently as of writing this review it (android tv) does not support apps such as prime video and AT&T Tv. It has built in chromecast but this only supports video but not audio for AT&T TV. Colors look great, metal stands with two placements (wider, less wide). Tv romote works well.

The picture is so clear and vibrant we love it the motion rate is awesome for 240 motion rate.We use it on smooth for motion rate.By being android tv it doesn't have applications like roku smart tv's.Overall we have been enjoying it. The price is very good for the quality of the smart tv.

I am so happy with the picture and overall performance of this TV. The only thing lacking is a bit of lag/buffering on the Android TV streaming which requires a reboot about once a week. I was warned about the chip not being quite as good as Sony's before I bought. Since I already use Roku for 99% of my streaming needs, I wasn't concerned. The brilliance and clarity of the picture after tweeking the settings slightly make this a great deal for the price. I hadn't considered Hisense until I saw it on the showroom floor and the picture was far superior to anything else within a couple of hundred dollars of it. Since I wanted a great picture and sound out to a surround sound system, this was a great choice for me. Those who want to get top quality self-contained streaming might want to step up to the Sony android.

Purchased after lots of research to replace a plasma. For the money it is much better than similarly priced TVs and probably as good as TVs costing hundreds more. What your getting is a TV that can easily display HDR content and comes with great colors right out of the box. I can't comment on long term quality. But if you can find it... it's more than worth the price of 599!

I really wanted to love this TV and in some respects, I did. After countless hours of research (yea, I'm one of those people) I came to a few conclusions. First, most 65" 4k TVs in this price range have "issues" both with every unit sold and with quality control. That probably goes for most electronics but more so with TVs. My decision to buy the H8F was mostly based on reviews of it's superb picture quality for the price and the fact that it has Android TV. I was looking at the Vizio M series 65" and the TCL 625 which are both also supposed to be good for the money but I just liked a lot of what I was hearing about the Hisense. I did go looking for problems with each TV and saw a lot more being reported for the Vizio. I was leaning that way since I have had great luck with Vizio but those issues scared me off. The TCL which was my first choice I just could not find for a great price near me (was $150 more than the Hisense and Vizio) and I don't love Roku so I went with the H8F. I will take a minute to say that the picture on this TV is spectacular. Maybe that's just because I am coming from an older Samsung entry level 4k but I have ZERO complaints about the picture quality on this TV. If not for what I'm going to talk about next, I would have given it 4 stars. I would take a star off for what I believe to be a sluggish operating system. Took awhile to load and wasn't the snappiest when navigating. So here's the real bad news... One thing I did read about is issues with Hisense TVs and them not turning on/off or turning on/off on their own. I can report that from day 1 of this TV being in our house we had issues with this. Especially when it's been off for a long time (overnight mostly), the TV would just not turn on. We tried the remote power button and the one on the TV itself. Nothing. I was on with Hisense support 4 times and factory reset the TV twice in addition to trying all they suggested but the problem would return. In the end they suggested I get the TV repaired under warranty. Nope. Was 10 days in my house at that point so just returning it. Honestly I was planning on just swapping it out for a different Hisense unit but turns out they were having a sale and I was able to get a great deal on a Samsung Q70 so I guess I will never know if I just got a lemon or not. Even after all I went through, I would still say the picture quality alone is worth taking a flyer on this set but buyer beware that it may have issues.

The tv has great quality for the price we paid. The only bad thing is how slow it is, and since it’s powered by android it seems like there’s Always an update.

Great picture quality, easy Android operating system, and low price tag make it one of the greatest 65 inch TVs available. Just thinking the H8G HAS quantum dotts and H8F doesn't for 50 to 75 dollars more?

You won't find a better deal. For the size, the features, and the OS (Android TV)...this is a steal. It's comparable to the mid level TCL but is a little cheaper. I love the OS, I was concerned about going from a Roku device to an Android TV but am quite happy with my decision. The picture is incredible and mops the floor with the base model TCL of the same size, which I have in a different room of my house. If you want an upgrade over the cheapest 4K HDR models, go with this. It's the cheapest you'll find of the mid-tier models.

This is my first Hisense TV. Overall a nice TV for our living room. The picture is great. The menu is easy to use. There is some lag from going between apps or even powering it off.

The TV has a really good picture once the settings are tweaked. The reds are quite bright, but can be adjusted. That being said, the TV locks up regularly. I tried the factory reset multiple times. I read reviews stating the processor is under powered for Android TV. I think this is the case also. I purchased a separate Android TV box for my Samsung TV and have no problems with it.

Great TV for the price. I searched the lower tier TV's and decided on this one because it was 50 more expensive then the top lower tier. I have enjoyed everything that the Android TV offers and don't see a reason for a cable service. The Picture is good not great, but what can you expect for the price.

Picture quality is outstanding. Great to have Android TV included. Sound quality, well like most TV's, not so good.

Picture is good. Software is a bit laggy; reboots needed at times. Good tv for the price

Great solid 4k tv at a nice price. Many setting to dial in, and works well for gaming. Has two position legs for smaller tv stands or wider stance. Very satisfied with purchase.

Got this tv and love it. Only con is when we first got it we couldn’t get amazon prime, after an update it’s available but we also cannot get our direct tv now app so still having to use a Roku. Should have paid more attention that this was a google driven smart tv. Besides that it’s awesome, great picture, love it.

This is a fantastic TV for the pricepoint. The local dimming feature for starters isn't found in any other brand for the same price. The Android TV applications are a bit clunky, but thats what things like Chromecast are for. Navigating menus can feel a little laggy, but all in all no complaints. Great color and resolution for a 65 inch TV for $600. Cant do much better for that price tag, would recommend. Only had it for a month so far, so no information on longevity, but so far ao good!

In my guest room I only had so much space and I have limited guests but I wanted something good at the best price. This TV is outstanding for the price. I don't have a sound system on this TV like I do other much more expensive TV's in the house but this TV has really good sound with out it. I was so surprised. The picture is as good as my (I won't name the brand) QLED that I paid 4 1/2 times more for (the QLED is bigger). I find myself relaxing in the guest room watching TV because I like the picture and the get away space. If you are looking for an outstanding quality TV at a low price, this is it. Nothing in its class is better.

The picture quality on this TV is pretty fantastic, especially coming from an older 55" Samsung unit. Mostly use it for movies, youtube viewing and some light gaming - The only negative to me is the "android TV" portion which is a little slow, and HBO plus for some reason doesn't work. Easily fixed by adding a device or video game console for media.
