The projector has excellent picture quality and brightness in my theater room. My gaming experience has been great so far. The initial setup was not bad, except getting the projector to line up correctly on the screen took longer than I expected. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase of my first projector.

I tried several projectors, including AWOL 3000 before finally settling on this projector. I whole family is satisfied with this projector. The picture quality is great and very bright. We’re able to watch during daytime without any issues. My on concern is with 3D, it’s still not working and it expensive too.

Best UST Projector I've ever owned!!!

This is the 3rd UST projector I've owned in the past 5 years... And it's the best one. It's not a tank (AWOL 3500) like my last one... Best picture quality... Easiest setup... Backlit remote and lots of options. This is the best in class as far as I'm concerned. Not sure about customer support since I have not had to use them yet... But I grabbed the 4 year extended warranty from Best Buy, so I have piece of mind for awhile. And it's a lot less than my last one.

First time using a UST projector and I am very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Even though I am using it with AV receiver and speaker setup, the sound of the projector is also very good.
The picture quality OOTB is very good. No calibrations required. I am using the Theater mode and colors are very likable.
Very easy to setup and Google TV is very responsive.
I am enjoying my home theater

Truly blown away with this exceptional laser TV! This is like having a movie quality set up at home. I am very impressed by the life like colors and the fact that I never see any glare on despite any lights in the room. Finally, it's amazing to game on this set up. Can't recommend this enough.

I bought this unit because it won a projector showdown online. I definitely wanted a bright projector because I cannot achieve complete light control during the daytime in my living room. It's advertised as 3000 lumens but can achieve 4000 measured. I will say that although the picture is not optimal during the day, it's still more than watchable given the projector's brightness. Very satisfied,

One of the best projectors available

This is my third projector and first ultra short throw projector. The first thing I will say is the picture quality of this projector is outstanding. The projector is very attractive and modern looking. The projector weighs in at around 20lbs. so it is easy to place and get setup. I have the projector raised approximately 9” off the floor and about 12.5” from the wall to project a 120” picture. It’s best to set the projector as square as possible to the screen using the adjustable feet before using either the manual or automatic Keystone correction that the projector offers in the settings. Once set up there is a setting for focus that works great and I found no issue with focus especially in the corners. The projector offers HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision. The PX3 Pro also supports 3D. With a brightness of 3000 ANSI Lumens and a 3000:1 contrast ratio this projector provides a bright and detailed picture in both a lighted room as well as a fantastic picture in a completely dark room. I have black out curtains in my room, so I do not get much ambient light during the day. The projector is a Tri Laser DLP with 4K pixel shifting. I have not noticed any laser speckle or rainbow effects. It comes with a really nice brushed metal remote that is both IR and Bluetooth and is backlit. Two things I noticed about the remote. It does not have a separate button to turn on the backlight (you have to press a function button to turn on the backlight) and the other thing was how hard it was to access the battery compartment. The instructions say to just press the arrow button on the back of the remote and slide it down to access, but this was not as simple as you might think. Take your time and don’t force it and it will eventually open. It took me over a half an hour to get it to open. The projector has built in Google TV OS. I have always used Roku 4K Dolby Vision streaming sticks but found the Google OS to be fast and easier to use so I decided to continue with the internal OS. There is Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. I currently have the projector connected via Bluetooth to a pair of Kanto Tuk wireless speakers and a pair of SVS subwoofers but will be upgrading to a 9.1.4 soundbar. Bluetooth connectivity was fast and easy. The projector has built in 50 watt Harman Kardon speakers and I will say that these are the best sounding speakers I have ever heard in a TV or projector. There is an equalizer setting in the menu that allows you to adjust the frequency range of the built-in speakers. I think if Hisense provided a subwoofer output on the projector you might not need an external sound system most of the time. The projector supports Dolby Atmos even with the built in speakers although without rear or up firing speakers it’s not as immersive as you’ll get with a true Atmos system. The menu system is very easy to navigate and offers a lot of settings options for picture and sound. There is a quick access button on the remote where you can make adjustments to the picture, brightness, sound and various other settings. As for picture quality. I am comparing this to my current best of 2024 LED and OLED TVs. After some minor picture adjustments, I found the picture to be very detailed. The colors are especially vibrant and accurate. The black levels are not quite OLED levels but as close as I have seen for a projector and as good if not slightly better than the LED. The off-angle viewing is outstanding. The Dolby Vison performance is stunning and SDR looks as good as my LED TV with excellent motion handling. I am not a gamer so I can’t speak to the performance, and I am waiting for my 3D glasses to arrive to test the 3D performance but am excited to test this as I have a large collection of 3D movies that I have been watching on my other 3D TV (Sony Z9D). 3D at 120” should be fun. I’m sure I am missing something here as this projector offers so much and with a picture quality that rivals the best of the short throw laser projectors and LED TVs out there this is an amazing projector. Obviously, the cost is not something to overlook but I think if you are looking for one of the best picture options in the 100”-150” range given the cost of 100” LED TVs this would definitely be my choice and is well worth consideration.

“Wow, this thing is seriously nice” was my first comment after getting everything set up. I currently have an Epson projector on a 160” screen, which works pretty well, but the brightness is lacking unless the room is pitch black. I’ve quietly watched the laser short-throw products improve and was in the market for an upgrade. Enter the Hisense PX3-PRO.
The projector arrived in a larger-than-expected box that’s extremely well padded. The projector itself is compact–about the size of an old VCR or a typical stereo receiver. It has adjustable feet so you can fine-tune the projection size, quality, and focus.
Since it’s a short-throw projector, it needs to be right in front of the screen. I don’t yet have the proper furniture, so I had to borrow a coffee table for placement. If you have a large screen, I'd expect it will need to be positioned low. You can use the PX3-PRO wherever you want since it’s all-in-one. Given the high quality of this entire package, you will likely want to pair it with a nice screen versus projecting on your wall.
Set-up was straightforward, with on-screen instructions similar to those of a TV. You can set the keystone by taking a photo of your screen; although, it took me 3 tries before it worked. I ended up doing it manually and had good results.
First impressions on the screen brightness are very positive. The 3,000 lumens is considered bright for any projector. I am very happy with the brightness. While the image would still be washed out on a sunny day, it would still be viewable.
The UI is Google TV–it’s very fast and navigating through menus is instant, with no lag. The Hisense-specific controls (for the laser, etc) are integrated with the overall Google TV interface, which is a nice touch. The display itself is fantastic and boasts Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. Colors are rich and bright, and blacks are good. Honestly, I have no complaints about the display quality. It’s much brighter than my Epson, and I’m very pleased with everything about it. I’m glad I waited a bit for the laser technology to improve–I think this generation is a safe bet for the vast majority of people.
The built-in speakers sound very good; but, if you have a large room, you may want to have your own sound system (Sonos, etc.). If you have a smaller or even “normal” sized room, the built-in sound would be very sufficient, not to mention convenient. The sound quality is quite good, as Harman Kardon put their name on it. Apps are abundant, and you will have no problem installing them from Google Play. The remote is good overall, but I wish all of the keys were illuminated (the streaming services buttons are not) and that it had a wake sensor so you wouldn’t have to press a button to wake the backlight.
The projector has lots of built-in features like HSR 240 refresh rate, XBOX compatibility, AI features, Airplay 2 & Apple Home, wifi 6e, and a ridiculously long 25,000 hr laser life–no more needing to buy expensive replacement bulbs! It also seems to sip power and doesn’t get super hot compared to traditional bulb projectors. It is silent when operating; although, I do notice a slight fan hum. Lastly, it has 3 HDMI inputs, which is convenient for other media streamers or whatever else you need HDMI for.
Overall this is an amazing short-throw projector. You can easily use it anywhere in the house since it doesn’t require mounting on your ceiling like a traditional projector. The OS–Android TV OS 12 with a July 2024 security as of Jan 2025–is snappy and lag-free and runs Google TV so your apps and such are covered. I’m just thrilled with the Hisense PX3-PRO and can easily recommend it to anyone!

I never write reviews so i hope this helps someone like me. I bought this projector with high hopes after much searching. Out of the box i immediately noticed the left upper corner was blurry. I assumed it was my wall and then got my screen. Still blurred after well mounted screen. Tried multiple walls and many hours of attempting to focus. I called company with basically no support. I returned to best buy and had to pay 500 restocking fee. Good luck and thank you.
