What an Amazing documentary!!! It covers there entire career!! I've wanted to own this for a very very very long time and finally decided to pony up the $$ to get it! In my opinion its the Definitive MUST OWN DVD/BluRay of the Eagles entire career!! Any Fan MUST SEE IT AND OWN IT! Enjoy! :)

good DVD but I bought by mistake the blue ray version which was not playable on my system. Took in back to the Best Buy store when I got home and they refunded my money without problems. Then I ordered, paid for the non-blue ray version which was sent to me without problems.

This is as definitive of a telling of the Eagles as we will probably ever get, especially as long as Glenn Frey and Don Henley are around. It's a top-notch piece of production work. The remastered audio quality is second-to-none, and the opportunity to see so much old footage of the Eagles in their heyday is really interesting. Unfortunately, Frey & Henley controlled the narrative on this documentary, and therefore, a lot of the "History of The Eagles" is not discussed or brushed off. A true Eagles fan (and I count myself as one) will wonder things like (1) Why was Randy Meisner given less than 5 minutes of interview time in the 2 and a half hour documentary? (2) Why was Don Felder given less than 5 minutes of interview time? (I know Felder and Meisner's time with the Eagles is over, but still, if you want an accurate telling of the story FROM ALL SIDES, their unedited input would have certainly spiced up this documentary.) (3) Why did Frey and Henley choose to basically gloss over their years of excess in the 70s, and not name the names of the people they were involved with (Stevie Nicks, for instance). (4) Why did Henley choose to not talk about "the incident" at his home when an underage girl OD'd? And again, a true Eagles fan can come up with lots more questions as to why things were omitted/glossed over. This is a good documentary, I'm glad I got it, and in terms of the technical aspects of making a music documentary, this should be the gold standard. The casual Eagles fan will not know or miss the numerous things that could have been discussed in this documentary. But the lifelong fans like myself will see the glaring omissions.

DVD is unbelievable! If you enjoy Eagles half as much as I do, this DVD will not disappoint. Complete and full history of the band with fabulous music!

This DVD offers an excellent behind the scenes look at the Eagles throughout the years. This is a must see for any Eagles fan!

we had seen this on Showtime before Glenn Frey died but had to have it in DVD format after he passed.

This was a gift for my parents and they loved it! Listen to it every few weeks.

I saw this documentary on Netflix. It's been nice to own the Blue Ray discs and really listen to the details. There are no interviews with "experts," The only people who are talking are members of the Eagles, their manager and their producers. The stories are authentic, and when there is a debate about what happened, both sides are presented. Topping all this off is a third disc, which I didn't see on Netflix, a live concert performance from the Hotel California tour. My only wish is for the concert video to have been longer. I wanted to hear them sing Desperado and Peaceful Easy Feeling.

Super Great DVD, very informative of the band from the early beginnings to it's present time. The struggles they go through to reaching it's fame success. Also included is a great live concert done at the Capitol Center in March of 1977 with all of their great hits. This DVD is done in bluray so audio as well video is great!

As a die-hard Eagles fan, I ordered this along with the new blu ray release of Farewell Tour I Melbourne. This is over 3 hrs of behind the scenes Eagles info and for my, this is one cool compilation. I especially enjoyed the personal interviews. You really get a feel for the inner workings of the band and the strife that caused the break up and the individuals leaving the band over the years.

My wife loves it. She is a big fan and enjoyed receiving it as a mothers day gift.

Great historical story of the Eagles from the beginning. Many great sound clips of the band in their early stages. The third disc is a recording of an Eagles concert in the late 70's re-mastered in Blu-ray. It is marvelous recording of that concert when the Eagles were at their best. Running through a Blu-ray player in 5.1 surround sound the audio was fantastic!

This DVD was a classic the instant it was released. The documentary was obviously thoroughly researched and the footage and interviews are absorbing. The addition of the concert disc was a perfect bonus for any Eagles fan and will keep Eagle fans and music fans in general riveted to their screens!

I really enjoyed the file footage from the 70s 80s. The narration puts a perspective on the political and social environment of the times. Many songs were very timely and accidental!! The professionalism and raw talent of the band is seen from behind the scenes. This is what has made the Eagles timeless!!

This is a must for any fan of the Eagles. Even if you have seen them in concert, this is a must have. They are the band of 3 generations and there is never a dull moment or a bad note.
