There were a few songs on this CD that I enjoyed but I wasnt impressed by it. His last album that he came out with was much better. Not really digging the Dance type beats he's come out with on this CD. All in I love Prince's music.

If you are a Prince fan,or even if you are not. Purchasing HitnRun Phase One is an absolute must!!!!! Prince is brilliant!!!! And it's hard to believe that he is gone,or is he? He lives on in his music and I got the sense by just listening to this second to last cd of his that Prince knew his time on the physical realm was coming to an end. And that's what makes this cd so special, because I got to listen to what Prince had to say. I like phase one better than phase two. This is an excellent gift for a Prince fan. And I'm thinking about purchasing the vinyl copies.

As a Prince fan, I tend to love everything he does, but since his passing, I put off buying his last two albums. It somehow made everything seem so final. But, I couldn't wait anymore and finally bought this one, and it has quickly moved into my top three favorite albums of all time, and certainly by Prince. It combines the best parts of him with fresh new artists for a funky, eclectic take on hip hop and r&b, but it still sounds uniquely like Prince. I can't say enough good things about it. It's wonderful...buy it!
