    I bought this to use with my classic ipod, though it might be handy when traveling or camping. For $10 it is hard to complain, but sound could be better. The battery compartment is directly across from device screen and when the case is closed it is really tight, could cause a problem. I haven't used it enough yet to find out if it eats batteries.

    I got this to amplify my tablet to watch a movie with my hospice patient. The speaker was not even AS loud as my tablet or phone speakers! I am returning it for something better.
