    I could think of no one else to do the Hobbit series. After his success with LOTR, this was a no-brainer. Awesome closure to the trilogy!

    Good movie for the third one. Left it open for a couple of movies to be made to fill in gaps between the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies.
