    Good movie overall. The battle scene dig go longer than it needed to. My son enjoyed the movie as well.

    This was okay. Technically it has good visuals and 3D. I didn't buy into Thorin's hypnotic obsession so much. The similar possessing of the King of Rohan, Théoden was done more believable in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers". I'm not saying it's bad, just not as good. The battle sequences were fun to watch. My wife didn't like the movie, but I enjoyed it.

    Can't go wrong with this movie if your a LORD OF THE RINGS need like me. Especially in 3d
