Good movie but I don't think there's much to say about it other than definitely get it on blu-ray.

Good movie and we will rewatch a few times. Cool battle scenes. The bad guys are crazy to watch.

I suppose that this was a decent enough movie to finish the trilogy. The Hobbit was a little too much about Peter Jackson and not enough about the book. Too much of the book, even some of the best parts, was glossed over in favor of adding new characters and storylines. The action was very good and I guess that is enough to give it a recommendation.

Loved the movies in the theatres thought it would be nice to start collecting the sets. ZERO CONS

I bought this DVD because I had bought all the others in the series and because I had read all the books. I felt that the action sequences saved the movie. It took three movies to tell the story of a single book of average length so there didn't seem to be enough story go around. Thank goodness for the action or my rating would be less than three stars.

It wasn't as god as the previous two films before it but it sets up the lord of the rings nicely !

This is a very good movie my only complaints are that it is very repetitive and thin plot wise.

The movie is stunning with its visual effects and the surround sound compliments those effects.
