I love how Peter Jackson took ideas from The Lord of The Rings books, the original Hobbit book, the remade Hobbit book, and also added his own ideas. The Hobbit movies made this universe feel so much more vast than it is and this movie was a great conclusion. No better place to get it than at Best Buy.

There's a lot of action in this final installment, and, while there are some changes to the original story, they give a more complete feeling to the characters. Peter Jackson successfully brought Tolkien's works to an even larger audience, while introducing audiences to the beauty of New Zealand.

Can't wait to pick this one up real soon! Lots of action and good ending.

If your a stickler like me, for movies based on books to actually follow the story of the book (especially classic stories like this), then you will probably be disappointed in this movie. On the other hand, if you never read the book, you will most likely love this movie. Either way, it is very entertaining and the cast was top notch. Even with my reservations about the way the story was portrayed, I did enjoy the movie.

Great story and amazing special effects. This purchase contains a 3D Blu-ray disk, a regular Blu-ray disk, a DVD disk and a Digital HD capability. All for one great low price. I actually found a cheaper price and Best Buy matched it. WOW! Way to go Best Buy.

If you're on the fence with getting this version of the Five Armies, then you should get this. The Extended cut makes it about 75% better with all the extra footage and scenes that they put in it. Trust me, it's almost a different movie and much better.

I purchased this for my husband as a pre-buy before it was released. It was ready for pickup on the release date, so he just had to walk in, show his I.D. and pick up his movie. The movie itself is one of his favorites. It's too bad this is the end of the series.

the first three movies are great but i believe that the hobbit series are a lot better ! This movie had me yelping and screaming, clapping. Literally haha. my sister had to tell me to calm down. I love this. and the case it comes in

OK, everything I've read said the 'extended parts' are not all that extensive. I've been a fan of the "extended edition" since the first LOTR. Despite Jacskon's revisions of the story, I still enjoyed these movies. This is no exception. There's action and adventure plenty ! And the ending will tug at your heart strings (unless you really didn't like these movies...).

Great Blu-Ray, works great, and excellent price. Plus, amazing end to the story! I probably enjoyed it more than the first two movies, and I was surprised that I did. I did not think the CG was too much; it was good and enjoyable.

Have all of the Rings, and Hobbit movies. Most are in 3D. Can't wait to pick this one up today, and watch on my new 65" 4K Sony.

Saw it in the theatre and thought it translated well to disc. Cinematics were great, between actual locations, CGI, animation and acting, was very good and pleased to add it to our collection.

With all the intense action of Middle Earth- the epic battle at the end is the best part of this movie! And whats better than best is that this edition is in an awesome Limited Edition Steelbook!

The hobbit and the war scene is just one of the reason why I like the Hobbit and the LOTR series.

Had to finish up the series. Good movie. Glad I watched it. They didn't need to split up the series into so many different movies, but I still enjoyed them none the less.

I definitely recommend getting this film on bluray, it gives justice to the incredible cinematic quality of Battle of the Five Armies. Definitely recommend for any LOTR/Hobbit fan.

There are things I love about these films and things which I don't. This one you must take it for what it is and if you have read the book not compare it. As a film it is enjoyable but if you start comparing you will find things to nitpick over. However this is still a fun fantasy film.

My favorite is still the Original Lord of the Rings series! This one is still amazing and fun! A must have for all Fantasy fans!

It's sad to see the Hobbit trilogy come to an end, but it's also great to now have six individual entries in the Middle Earth saga to watch over and over again. Love the limited edition steelbook artwork here, and the main feature itself once again looks and sounds fantastic in HD!

Well done conclusion to the Hobbit story...even thought they pushed it into a "Trilogy". Following this formula, the Lord of the Rings should have been 9 movies!
