I bought the steelbook was an awesome movie.......

The movie is a bit long but worth it if you can get it on sale. I like that it comes with a digital copy.

I could tell when they added in the extra story parts to dilute it in order to make 3 movies but it was ok.

I purchased this item because I collect movie steelbooks and plus the movie is also very good.

I only buy Blu-Ray movies if it includes a Digital Copy on I-tunes. This movie's Digital Copy is only for Ultraviolet. I do have an Ultraviolet account, but it was extremely confusing to set up. Some of the movies I have purchased through Best Buy that had an Ultraviolet Digital Copy never worked. Currently, only my Sony 3D Blu-Ray player supports Ultraviolet and when I stream the movies, they are in very poor SD quality. 720p or worse. . Apple TV and Google Play do not support Ultraviolet. Giving someone an Ultraviolet Digital Download is like saying "Free Beer! (If you can find the bar)". And when you do find the bar, the beer is warm and flat. Not having an I-tunes digital download is a deal breaker for me.

nothing compared to the original LOTR trilogy. Still recommended to watch once.

This movie did not disappoint. I have watched all of the Hobbit movies.

I Like The Other Hobbit Movie Better. But Yes Like Like This One

I love the LOTR trilogy, but The Hobbit movies are somewhat lacking compared to the initial trilogy. Still, though, I find them entertaining, visually impressive, and worthy of a 3D purchase.

There was very little that was added to these movies that justified stretching the Hobbit out over 3 movies. I was glad when the movie was over.

This was a good movie but struggle to keep my attention longer than an hour.

This movie continues Peter Jackson's despoilation of Tolkien's wonderful work. It's awfulness is astounding. So many elements in the movie have no basis in Tolkien canon, made up solely to pad the length and turn one short book into 3 movies, and the writing is horrible. I walked out of the theater about the time the Dune-esque sandworms popped out of the ground. I can't condemn this movie in strong enough terms.

Although the combo pack is advertised, I received a single Blu Ray disc. The movie is great. Just false advertisement on Best Buy's part.

This movie is complete garbage. Tolkien is rolling in his grave.
