I didn't read the books so can't compare. I enjoyed the movie so got the whole set on dvd for future use.

Money well spent, action pact all through out. Will always shop Best Buy for all my DVDs thank you best buy

Capping off the unnecessary 3 movie trilogy for the Hobbit story, The Battle of Five Armies is visually stunning in its 3d presentation. I'm a big fan of 3d, but I understand why other may not be. Usually I watch a film in 3d first for the depth of the visuals and then in standard 2d to concentrate more on details of the story. The Hobbit films are a cash grab that could easily have been trimmed into two movies. More stuff doesn't make a great film so because of this I'll say it's a good movie but not great.

This is the final movie in the series. I saw it in theatre and watching again at home you see things you missed.

This was a great live adaptation of the cartoon version. The visual effects and the acting were both fantastic.

I deeply enjoyed this movie. It had a lot of great scenes. A better ending than Return of the King was for Lord of the Rings. Could have used more action though. A tad slow in the middle for my tastes.

Great movie it's a must watch action all the way through great story line...I think we need about 2 or 3 more...

You can't go wrong with the 3rd Movie in the Hobbit Franchise, but you will need to buy the first two as well!

Great picture and sound on Blu-ray. Would be nice if there was a choice for iTunes instead of the repulsive UltraViolet. The Hobbit trilogy was ok, but deviated from the book too much.

We have been buying all The hobbit movies in 3D and they totally meet our expectations. Very good price, too.

It's a must watch. Very entertaining and fun. appropriate for family.
