I love these type of adventure movies, the creatures and scenery. I felt the story line was just ok. It was great to watch, visually stunning, storyline could have been better and more captivating.

Glad to see that there is a little more action and very few down moments (I thought "An Unexpected Journey" dragged a little too much in the battle scenes). The picture is great on my 3d TV as well.

A good way to continue the adventure from the previous hobbit film. But there is a bit to much filler, scenes or characters added just to add to the run time. Still the movie is fun and great watch.
