It's a fun game for people looking for a game to lose yourself in. It's a great open world adventure game with RPG elements mixed in. Role play as a witch or wizard in the Harry Potter universe. There's so much to explore and do such as side quests and other fun activities plus the main story which is very interesting. No major bugs/glitches or other bad performance issues so far on the PS5 version. It's runs great in any mode: 1800p at 30fps or 1440p at 60fps. There's even a 1080p/1440p at 120hz mode if you're TV supports it. You can uncap the frame rate too if you prefer. The graphics are amazing on PS5. HDR support is great too as it makes the color pop so much more if you're TV supports that too.

In an age full of paid beta AAA games, I'm stoked to say that this is actually a complete release. The world building is phenomenal and I have spent hours just wandering around Hogwarts and the little hamlets across the massive world. Everything about this game feels great and any of my issues are more so over little annoyances with flying controls or occasional bits where you may get stuck behind an object and have to load a previous save, but nothing that isn't a part of all open world titles. Really feel like anyone who buys this will find some kind of game mechanic they enjoy whether it's the combat, potion making, herbology, beast collect, and more.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Harry Potter franchise. The attention to detail and nods to the cannon were spot on. This is the best Hogwarts has ever looked. One of the few if any AAA games that earned the $70 price tag. The extra quest in Hogsmeade is a lot of fun. There is lots to do and explore both in and around the castle.

One of the best games I've played, and honestly will be considered "Game of the Year" by a lot of people. Hogwarts Legacy is basically Batman Arkham Asylum for Harry Potter fans. While this is not a story featuring Harry Potter and his friends, it takes place in that world, and It very much honors and respects it and its fans. The game is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, but will hit last gen consoles before the end of the year. Absolutely worth the purchase. Enjoy your time in this Wizarding World!

Amazing game! The story is immersive, creative, and pays a lot of tribute to source material. There has been a mix of Harry Potter lore references and Fantastic beasts throughout all of which tie perfectly into the main game’s story which appears to be about 100 years before the events from the main Harry Potter series. The closest comparison for game play I have for this game would be a blend between Fable and Jedi Fallen Order. If you love RPGs and Harry Potter this game is for you!

This game is phenomenal. Coming to it as avid fans of the Harry Potter series, both my wife and I spent countless hours exploring every inch of this beautiful, detailed world. I will admit that I was worried about the combat system, because in most games I hate playing magic wielding characters. But the combat couldn't have been much better. The story in this game was excellent and I am hoping for additional content in the future.

Overall its a great game. Very immersive into the world of Hogwarts. Minor bugs, and a decent story.

Awesome game, bought it for my wife since she’s a big Harry Potter fan. Ended up playing it more than she did. Great story, there’s a lot to do. Very complex and interesting.

I love harry potter. From the books and all the way to the movies. I feel like this game was made for me. I love the world that this game made me feel a part of. There are some flaws, But they are overshadowed by how fun this game is. I highly recommend especially if you're a harry potter fan.

What the....no 2023 game of the year nods?!! This game was such a rare sight and treat to behold? Great story, pacing, acting and of course the graphics were awesome as well. Came out the gate delivering things OTHER games promised without batting an eyelash.

Lots to explore, can be a bit repetitive but overall a great game

This game is a very fun RPG set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter. It's set around 100 years before the main books/movies so while you still get some references, legacy characters, etc its really a whole new experience. You are able to explore this world in your own way and carve out your own path to be a witch or wizard.

Best game so far of 2023. The game is beautiful, consists of a wonderful story, and well-written characters. It would be nice to have more options for making your own characters, such as customizing face shapes, body size, and hair options. I had a difficult time making a character that looked like me.

Absolutely amazing game!! Best fantasy game I’ve played, huge open world tons of different activities and things to do. Also haven’t had any bugs which is refreshing. I’m not a huge Harry Potter fan but this game is great. It takes place before Harry Potter so it’s like it’s own fantasy world

Definitely had a few little quirks and glitches, but nothing game breaking or too distracting. Easily 50 plus hours of enjoyment on just one playthrough. Excited to see what else they add in the future. Just being able to explore all of hogwarts alone is worth the price tag. Great game

This game is so amazing!! There is so much to explore and do that it feels overwhelming but in a great way! This game was well long overdue.

Admittedly, I was not a fan out of the gate but, I was hooked once I got situated. A great game with plenty to do. You definitely wont get bored. Its geared for different play styles and the world open enough you can do basically what you want, when you want. Love it.

An amazing game, set in this universe they did an awesome job overall. you definitely should get it. you'll fall in love with the universe all over again. yeah any game will have some bugs, but it is very well made. the story also is really great.
