The Hohem iSteady V3 Ultra is a feature-packed gimbal that’s a fantastic option for beginners, solo vloggers and non-professionals. Professional filmmakers will likely find it limiting for its weight capacity and find it too small to accommodate external attachments like SSD drives and lights. But for everyone else, it’s all you need to capture events, travels, live streams, reels and so on. PROs • The first standout feature standout feature is the detachable touchscreen remote with a live display that lets you see what the gimbal is tracking. In the live view, you can simply double tap the person or object you want the gimbal follow. The remote has other functions, too, including rotating the gimbal and adjusting its settings. • The second standout feature is the AI subject tracker. This is a separate device with a 2 MB camera that plugs into the phone holder. What this camera sees is what’s displayed on the remote. By selecting a subject in this camera, the gimbal automatically rotates as needed to keep the subject in view. The tracker works independently of any camera app making it versatile for even video calls and meetings. • This tracker also has LEDs that can be used as a fill-in light at close range. • The gimbal is small and folds into a portable and packable form. You can easily slip it into a backpack, purse or even a pocket. It has pull out legs turning it into a tabletop tripod. And it has a 1/4” screw hold on the bottom if you want to attach it to a larger tripod or pole. • You can track a full 360 degrees horizontally. Not all gimbals have this feature. • An extension pole is built in to give you a little more reach. • The Hohem Joy app can optionally be installed and used as a camera app and to control the gimbal. This app expands its capabilities by letting you take creative shots like dolly zoom or spirals a la Inception. It has its own subject tracking smarts that’s independent of the AI tracker. CONs • The live display on the remote is small. If you’re trying to track a person or object that’s far away, there’s no way to zoom the display and make a selection. • When using the Hohem Joy app to track a subject, it is easy to forget whether you are using the app or the AI tracker to track. And using both simultaneously confuses the gimbal, making it vibrate madly. Hohem should have put in a warning when both are in use. • The app also has the option to let it be controlled by another device like an iPad with a bigger screen. But I found this to be cumbersome and useful really only to fire the shutter or rotate the gimbal. On the plus side, the other device does not need the Hohem Joy app installed because it connects via a browser. • There is no detachable phone holder. So attaching the phone to the holder is a bit awkward as the gimbal flops around. • The phone holder is the type that has two “claws” with a spring expanding back. That limits the thickness of any case you may be using. The claws also get in the way of the phone’s buttons, sometime pressing them when you don’t to. It would have been nice to see a Mag Safe version of the holder to accommodate thicker cases. • No protective case is included – only a small fabric pouch. OTHER • Though the Hohem Joy app is optional to control the gimbal, it's required to install firmware updates. There are too many features to cover in a short review (like time lapse photos, panorama shots, etc…) but overall this is a great gimbal for most people.

I’ve considered a gimbal for a while now. With photography advances in smartphones, it just made sense to step up my game. This gimbal is a game changer for anyone creating content and memories. It’s compact and foldable which makes it easy to take to where the action is. I'm used to gimbals that handle bigger cameras, and I believe this is the best gimbal for most users. The AI tracking is amazing. More than just tracking people, it will track objects, animals and more as well. With 360 panning, it creates a real cinematic look. The detachable screen extends the versatility when I’m shooting solo. The build quality is solid and I believe it’ll fit most smartphones and cameras like the GoPro. At 14 oz, it’s not tiring to use for longer periods. Targeted to content creators and streamers, I believe that anyone who enjoys shooting video will love this. Whether you enjoy capturing family moments, creating content for social apps, documenting sporting events, or even zoom calls, this gimbal will show off your talents.

I tested the this with a Pixel 9, primarily for walking and panning shots. Stabilization was generally effective, though some jitter occurred during rapid movements, indicating it's not ideal for high-intensity use. Overcorrection wasn’t noticeable, and any lag was tolerable. Mounting the phone was simple, and the built-in tripod is both functional and well-designed. However, the control scheme isn't intuitive if you just unbox it and try to use it; watching the tutorial video is essential. Gesture control worked reliably, allowing hands-free activation of AI tracking, setting composition, and taking a photo or starting and stopping recording. The only thing that really bugged me was the joystick’s inverted axis behavior on the remote. The unit feels solid and well-built, though I could see where its weight might cause fatigue during extended handheld use. Charging was slower than expected, but it’s convenient that one USB-C cable charges both the gimbal and remote. I didn’t use the app, opting instead to pair w/ my phone via Bluetooth for the camera control. Overall, it’s a capable stabilizer with a few quirks that require user adaptation and would probably serve somebody who's just getting into these kinds of things really well, but not if you're going to be doing crazy extreme sports with it.

This is a full featured gimbal for your smartphone. It sets up quick with your phone's Bluetooth, making shooting jitter free video with your phone the same as using a high end rig. It folds down surprisingly compact, and easily fits in a jacket pocket. It's only an inch wider than my selfie stick which is great considering the tech packed in it. The 1.4" touchscreen display is preferred over pressing buttons multiple times. You can control the power and responsiveness of the motors which is s plus when you're tracking fast moving subjects. The built-in tripod and extension make for better viewing angles and stable positioning. The touchscreen is detachable and can be used as a viewfinder when you want to be in the shots. The hand gesture recognition works really well so you don't even really need the remote or another person. The fill light does a good job in low light and even no light as long as the subject is not more than 6ft away. I'm not crazy about the panorama mode, it takes sequential pictures and doesn't stitch them. Would be better if you initiated a pano shot from your phone and use axis lock panning. The AI tracking does a very good job with slow to medium moving subjects, but gets lost with faster movers. It handles my somewhat overly thick folding phone quite well and stabilizes it even though the camera cluster is quite huge compared to a typical Iphone. A cool feature that help make this better is the inclusion of tripod threading in the base of the unit. Power is not really an issue for the gimbal, but removing the display pod for extended periods is going to drain the battery. Power up is only 3 seconds so I shut it off if I'm not using it for a few minutes, though it does have a stand by mode if I remember which button to press and how many times. The multiple button press sequences takes some getting used to, but fortunately you can access almost everything from the screen menu. A great gimbal for the amateur creator and a good backup for the professional, when a large rig won't work.

I am absolutely amazed by the Hohem iSteady V3 Ultra smartphone gimbal! This is such a feature packed product from a company that I have personally never heard of. Hohem's Ai tracking is seriously impressive and provides a good use-case for Ai assistance. It's extremely easy to use the Ai features to track your subject and to create amazing shots, making this a perfect smartphone gimbal for beginners or for those looking to easily capture and make their content. The built in extension pole, or "selfie" stick, tripod, a 1/4"-20 screw hole, as well a 3-color fill light makes the iSteady V3 Ultra a perfect setup for beginners with no additional accessories required to get straight to capturing beautiful videos and photos. The gimbal is able to handle large phones with no issues, I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is quite a large phone, and the iSteady V3 Ultra has no problems moving freely with no struggles. All of these features are packed into a super lightweight and small package that can easily fit in your pocket! This is just an amazing product and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is even remotely interested in trying out a smartphone gimbal.

This Hohem - iSteady V3 Ultra 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for Smartphones is a great choice. Until now, I Had not heard of this company. I have had a DJI gimbal I have used and it's been great. That said, this is a huge upgrade. Build quality is top shelf. It has a decent heft, but is still quite lite and comfortable. My daughter (she is 1000 times more artsy than I am), and an excellent photographer / videographer. We had it set up and operational in probably no more than 15 minutes. We tested it at the lake in frony of our house. We used it walking, on the golf cart and even took it out on the lake. To ur amatuer eye, it looked as steady as professional TV show or movie. It's simple to use, while still being super-techy. A couple of our favorite features, are the removeable remote, and the ability to use it as a standalone tripod. Neither of those are on the DJI gimbal we gave used previously previously. These two items, seemingly as simple as they are, make it considerably more useful. End of the day, this is a top-shelf choice for even every one from the beginner to the most advanced videography experience.

Gimbals are highly underrated for most people because they tend to have a bit of a learning curve. This gimbal is no different, but the AI tracking it has makes it simpler to shoot with this. The gimbal includes a screen that you can detach so you can frame shots better or see things from afar. Since I'm already on that, the gimbal also has a fill light attached to it so you can use that for your shots like selfie shots or when you're shooting by yourself. I wouldn't call it the strongest light if you're tying to use it from a distance though. There is a camera that is attached to the gimbal that helps with the AI tracking. In my opinion, this is the biggest selling point for this. It helps with filming yourself and in my own experience, it makes things so much simpler when you're shooting by yourself or you're not very good with tracking while filming. It simplifies the whole process so you're guaranteed to have a great shot. Another great feature that it has it does it can spin 360 as well so you can get really creative with it. This gimbal is a fantastic deal with fantastic features.

GOOD - Compact size and easy to carry with you - The subject tracking works for simple moving objects - Built-in extension bar and tripod - Uses same gesture controls as GoPro gimbals - Fill light has adjustable color tone BAD - Steep learning curve - Can only mount a phone; no way to mount a small camera - Phone mount has trouble with some phone cases - The Hohem mobile app limits video to 1080p30 when using front-facing camera, even if your phone can do more. - Fill light on the bottom in landscape mode isn't great TLDR The iSteady V3 Ultra makes a decent starter gimbal / motorized camera mount. The subject tracking is good enough for most uses and the basic functions are easy to use. But overall it has a steep learning curve, the gimbal lacks motion range for more advanced shots, the companion app's camera features leave something to be desired, and you can't mount a camera other than a phone. As a basic gimbal to stabilize your video capture while slowly moving or as a remote control phone camera tripod, the iSteady will do the job. But if you want something for more advanced motion shots or for tracking faster motion, you'll be disappointed. DETAILS If you've never tried using a camera gimbal, it makes a huge difference in smoothing out video you capture while moving around. Even with a good IS camera and lens and doing your best to walk smoothly, you'll still notice some jerks and jostles in your video. So having a motorized gimbal to keep the camera still even at a brisk walk is a huge benefit. The iSteady V3 Ultra adds additional subject tracking functionality, allowing you to pan and move around your subject while keeping it in frame. On top of that, you can pop out the control module from the handle to adjust the gimbal from afar. This actually makes it a very good "active tripod" if using your phone as a webcam or for teleconferencing. The AI subject tracking function is all self-contained with the gimbal itself and doesn't require connecting to your phone. The tracking module attaches to the side of the phone mount and has a small camera of its own. This camera has a wireless feed to the small screen of the control module on the handle. So it's important to note that what you see on the tracking screen is only what the tracking module sees, NOT what your phone camera sees. Turning the subject tracking on and off and adjusting the subject framing are all done from the control module. The touchscreen on the control module isn't the greatest, so precisely dragging a box around your subject isn't always easy. The AI tracker module clips to the phone mount and is reversible, so you can use it with both the rear- and forward-facing cameras on your phone. Also, while the documentation says the AI tracking works up to 16 feet, I found it not very usable past 10-12 feet. The tracking camera has a wide field of view and can't be zoomed in, so it can be tricky to pick out the subject on the tiny display past 10 feet. The tracking module also has a fill light on it, which can be adjusted in intensity and color tone. Unfortunately, the light is mounted on the bottom of the phone mount when it's used in landscape mode, so your videos will be partially lit from below when using the fill light. Manually controlling the gimbal with the joystick is pretty easy. You can change the settings from the main control module for motor speed, reverse the joystick movement direction to fit your preference, and set the default portrait/landscape orientation when powering on the gimbal. The system is also smart enough to reverse left and right panning directions when you switch it between front- and rear-facing mode. But moving beyond these basic controls is a steep learning curve. Hohem does have good tutorial videos on their site explaining all the functions and features, but there are a lot of them to watch. The videos also have a lot of overlap, so you will probably watch the same explanation of few features while trying to find info on a different function. It will take some time to memorize all the different controls between double- and triple-clicking which button to accomplish a given function. Using the timelapse function in particular is confusing. The main control module has the ability to set a movement path with multiple stops and duration of the video. But you can also do the same thing from the Hohem app directly on your phone, and the two seem to conflict with each other. If you connect the iSteady to your phone using Bluetooth, it's seen as an external keyboard or input device. This will allow the record button on the gimbal grip to act as shutter control ( provided you use the "volume up" key on your phone to release the shutter instead of controlling camera zoom ). But for full control integration, you'll need to use Hohem's mobile app. This app, when paired with the gimbal over Bluetooth, allows the grip buttons to control shutter, zoom level, and switching capture mode from photo to video. But the Hohem app has its own camera utility and image processing instead of using those native on your phone. When using my Pixel 8 with the iSteady, image quality looked better using the native camera app than with Hohem's. It appears the Pixel's native app simply has better post-processing, especially when it comes to adapting capture in low- and changing lighting conditions. When using it with an older iPhone 6, I didn't see any difference. The Hohem app also limits video reolution and framerate when using the front-facing camera. While my Pixel 8 can record 4K60 video using the front camera, the Hohem app wouldn't allow anything above 1080p30. The iSteady also has a few significant limitations. Primarily, it can only mount a phone. It has no way to swap to a 1/4" threaded connector or to mount other cameras, like a GoPro or small IC camera, even though the documentation says it can handle up to 400g. The phone mounting clamp has ups and down. The padded jaws are angled in a way to minimize pushing the side volume and power buttons on a cell phone, but they're not very deep. If you have even a moderately thick case on your phone, the laws might not securely hold it. You also can't adjust the phone mount position to put the camera lens in the center of the gimbal axes, though this is perhaps nit-picking. The way the gimbal arms are designed also limits how far the gimbal can tilt upward. This isn't a bad thing for just videoing yourself, but it's completely inadequate if you're trying to shoot low-angle shots. So lots of good points and some fairly significant bad ones about the iSteady V3. As a basic handheld gimbal to smooth out videoing yourself while you're casually walking around, it's fine. It also functions nicely as a remote controlled tripod if you need auto tracking while you're giving a video seminar or doing a livestream while you're moving about a little. But if you need something for tracking faster moving objects or want extended range of motion for more advanced videography, the iSteady won't be up to snuff.

The Hohem iSteady V3 gimbal is such a fun addition to my production gear. What initially caught my attention was the detachable remote that doubles as a tiny monitor. I’ve been using this stabilizer with my Google Pixel 9 and the movements are smooth. I was even able to attach a wireless mic receiver to the phone with no interruptions. The AI tracking device and built-in tripod are really neat too. So far, I can recommend this gimbal to those looking for steady phone shots both in vertical and horizontal shooting modes. Touchscreen Remote Control The remote comes with a joystick and a shutter button. The shutter button works when your camera app is open, regardless of if you’re using your phone’s camera app or the Hohem app. A lot of the touchscreen features are going to work outright, but the touchscreen zoom in/out feature seems to only work on the Hohem app and not my Pixel’s camera app. The touchscreen capability is nice because you can choose to keep the remote hooked onto the gimbal or you can remove it if you want to set the gimbal down and control from afar. The remote can also be used as a small monitor, but keep in mind that the feed comes from the AI Tracker’s camera, not your phone camera. This was initially disappointing to me because I thought I would be able to switch the front and back camera along with the monitor feed at the same time, but that’s not how this feature works. Although I didn’t anticipate this, it’s actually not that big of a deal once I continued to use it. There will obviously be a slight parallax/offset of the phone camera vs the tracking device feed, but you get used to it. Wherever you choose to keep the remote, you can do so many things on the touchscreen like change stabilizing modes, orientation, joystick direction, recentering the gimbal to name some of the more common settings I change or use. AI Tracking I’m pleasantly surprised at how smooth the tracking feature is on the iSteady V3. While filming in person, it seems like the footage is going to look jerky when it follows me around, but during playback, it’s completely fine. I like the tracking feature so far because I can activate it multiple ways. One way is to use the Hohem app which allows you to enable hand gestures to start/stop the tracking or the camera shutter. The hand gestures are convenient to use, but you can only use them if the tracking is coming from the app, they are disabled if the AI Tracker device is turned on. Extendable Selfie Stick The extendable feature of this gimbal is good for low and high angles alike. I love that I can capture my dog running without bending all the way down with the camera, plus the footage is stabilized during all the movement. And jib-like or high-angle shots are easy to accomplish from the ground which is great for parties and event footage, although it helps if you’re tall. LED Light The included light, which is on the AI Tracker itself, is super simple to turn on and adjust. You can control the light either from the touchscreen menu or from the orange gear/button on the side of the gimbal handle. It has different color temperatures (cool to warm) and dimming capabilities adjustable to your liking. Final Thoughts The iSteady V3 is a compact phone gimbal that provides stable footage on the go. It’s a solid piece of equipment that comes with bells and whistles that complement mobile device video productions from home videos to event footage. I really appreciate that the phone clamp/mount doesn’t interfere with the phone’s side buttons, unlike other gimbals I have used. This stabilizer is as versatile as I need it to be. All in all, I can definitely recommend this gimbal.

    Powerful Technology, Well Thought Out

The technology incorporated in this gimbal is extensive and cutting edge. It is important to utilize the Quick Start Guide to get going on understanding how to use this device. The Quick Start Guide is the best manual I have seen and it gives an organized and thorough, albeit quick way to learn. This guide includes QR codes that will link you to various tutorials and I would suggest viewing these very helpful tutorials. You will want to install the Hohem Joy app and pair the device with your cell phone. Be sure to have the cell phone attached to the gimbal before you turn the gimbal on. The reason for this caution is that the gimbal’s motors need to understand the weight of your phone and they have the ‘smart technology’ needed to maintain your phone at level or tracking people, cars or pets for example. Note that when you pair this device the item to pair is designated by “SV3U-......”. There are extensive commands utilized by using the joystick on the little remote and utilizing a multiple button tap scheme. All this can be daunting at first. However using the app will help a beginner to get started quickly. You soon will realize that his gimbal has tremendous technology available to help you make wonderful professional quality recordings and photos. The device feels solid and gives you a much better ergonomic comfort for your grip versus just filming with your cell phone in your hand all day. You also have a built in tripod so you can set the gimbal safely down and still operate it. There is an 8” extension arm as well. The device also has a tripod screw mount on the bottom. Tip of the cap to the Hohem designers for a very useful physical and electronic design. The little color screen is detachable and can be used as a remote. By the way the remote screen is not just used for settings. One useful feature comes into play if you want to point the rear (more powerful) cell camera at yourself but now you can’t see the image. But the image can be shown on the little detachable remote – genius. The most powerful technology is the AI tracking capability, the device will move your phone to track an object using customizable tracking zones. You can even do 360 degree tracking. Lighting is also customizable. I certainly believe this accessory will be very helpful for me to make all kinds of videos. I am so happy I have found this device and highly recommend it.

Like my title says, this is a great beginner gimbal but has a learning curve for it. Why 4 stars though from me. I did have a couple small issues, but not enough to make me not enjoy using this. One issue I did resolve some once I found a setting that helped it. That issue is that this does not follow the best at times if you move to fast. If you are closer to this and move fast, I ran into this not tracking. This was better when I found a setting that allows for it to move faster. Most of the time I do not even see this as an issue. Maybe if you are working out and moving around and might get out of the view if you are in a smaller space and can't get enough distance between this and yourself. My other issue that I did run into. If in portrait mode, a couple times this ended up going into the standard mode, especially if doing any activities that you are going side to side and this is moving around a lot. Next is a cool future but I would also have liked to maybe see it a bit longer and that is that this has its own built-in tripod and selfie stick. But the stick does not go that far out. If you set this on the ground, it only comes up a couple feet. It would have been nice if this came up to 5-6 feet similar to using a regular tripod. But it does have a threaded portion on the bottom so that you could place in another tripod that has a screw to thread in. I do like that its fairly easy to just fold it up and then place in a bag that they provided. It is smaller than others, and so it is a lot easier to pack and take around. I like that it does have a remote with it, but it seems to only use the tracker camera. Being that the tracker camera is on the side or bottom if in portrait mode means that what your camera is seeing is slightly off from what you might see with the remote. At least I have not figured out how to have the remote show my camera view. This does help a lot if you do film to keep your videos study. This keeps things smooth. If recording events, without this a lot of times, videos are shaky, and a lot of movement and can sometimes be hard to watch. With this, as you move around, it keeps things smooth. I have used this at church to record the Pastor, and you can set it to follow him, this made it a lot easier as I did not have to manually follow my Pastor. My biggest advice if you choose this though, is to watch the tutorial videos. One thing that is important is that you want to put your phone into this first, prior to power on. Then you can power it on. Same with turning it off. Turn it off first and then take your phone out. This does work with some cases. I have an iPhone 16 pro max and I was able to use this with my case. I do have a thinner magsafe case. I have a magnetic pop socket that I did have to remove prior to using. I can see this for all types of users. If you enjoy using your phone to record videos with or even pictures, I highly suggest this. It will help keep your videos stabilized. And even more so if you are moving around while making a video.

The Hohem iSteady V3 Ultra Gimbal is a very nice tool that really took my videos to the next level. I have never used a gimbal before, so this definitely took some practice and learning. But thanks to Hohem's really informative videos, the learning process really wasn't that hard. After watching the quick videos, I was up and running with no problem. I tried the tracking feature first since that was the most interesting to me, and in my testing it worked really well. I like the inclusion of the detachable remote with the preview screen since it can show you what your phone sees even if you're using the rear camera and can't see the phone screen. The tracking ability really worked well for me. It kept me in frame exactly how I wanted, even when I moved around. You can even do specific hand gestures to start and stop tracking, or switch video orientation. It takes some getting used to using the correct hand gestures, but once you do, it is a really easy way to change these settings. When I watched my videos back for the first time, I was really impressed with how smooth and steady they looked. The most impressive was one I wasn't even trying to do as a test. I was at my son's fun run fundraiser, and they did a parent lap where I got to run along side him. I of course was videoing with the gimbal and just took it along for my lap. When I saw the video afterward, the video itself was rock solid steady, even though you could tell that I was physically running. That was when I really saw how much this thing was actually working to keep videos smooth and steady. I am so happy with this gimbal and excited for shooting really smooth, professional looking videos.

If you want a new handheld for your phone, WOW...this is it. If you need to film by yourself, this is the way to go for sure. So I currently have several smartphone gimbals from other companies, and this one is better than those by a long shot. The hardware on this one is much smaller in size overall, and when folded away it's even smaller and compact. It is built very well with the materials used, and I think it will stand the test of time. Functionality of this gimbal is much better than some others as well. It can rotate 360 degrees, and has a tripod built in. So no snapping or screwing in legs for a stand, as this one has them built into the bottom of the gimbal. If you need to shoot something up higher or farther away, it has a built in tripod neck to extend. The edition of the little removable screen is just amazing, that way you can be completely independent. Face tracking is so smooth, and accurate for the most part. It will follow you around with no problems, there small camera attachment is a much needed addition as well. Battery life has been great so far, and using this gimbal versus others is much easier. The instructions are on the device, so you don't have to think about it. Just do it.

I've been wanting to up my content creation game. I have a retail store and adding content needed a boost. Before the gimbal, all of my videos through the store show every step I took. I couldn't stabilize my phone enough to prevent it and many times looking though those, I felt like my content would make people dizzy from the bouncing and jolts. This gimbal fixed all of that. I love how it folds up small but when in use, it can extend out, and it has a built in tripod base, but when holding while moving around the room, it changes the game and completely stabilizes the video! I took it home and used the AI tracking to video my dogs and cats. It worked great except when my dog ran behind a tree and the tracking lost her. I can understand how that obstacles can effect the tracking. There's so many shortcuts with all the buttons and it's taking some time for me to remember all of them, but the touch screen remote is an awesome little tool to be able to move around and stay in control of the video's adjustments while not holding the gimbal. Also, it recognizes hand gestures for activating the AI tracking. There's a fill light on the AI tracking module that's adjustable for brightness as well as color. There's also a mobile app for additional controls for photos and video. I prefer using the controls on the gimbal handle. This is a fantastic tool for any content creator and there's only a couple of drawbacks. The first is that to use it, I had to remove my phone case. This did not make me happy. I hope in the future, they make it to handle any phone case. Also I'm not accustomed to holding something like the gimbal while it is extended for a long period of time. My arms sure got tired! That's a me problem though. I think it's a game changer for me and my business.

The Hohem iSteady V3 Ultra is a surprisingly powerful and versatile tool, especially for someone like me who’s a little more advanced in age. It arrived well-packaged, and the setup was intuitive—Bluetooth connected easily, and the included tutorial videos (accessible via QR code or the Hohem Joy app) are some of the best I’ve ever seen. That’s a good thing, because the gimbal offers a wide range of features and controls that can feel overwhelming at first. Thankfully, the videos walk you through everything clearly. I love the three usage modes: handheld, extended handheld, and remote. The remote mode is especially useful for recording training sessions or demonstrations. On my first attempt, I forgot a few basics, but rewatching the tutorials and taking notes helped me get back on track. The gimbal’s tracking and panning are smooth and professional—it follows subjects without jerky movements or dizzying shifts. You can record using your phone’s native camera or the Hohem Joy app, which includes templates and creative features I’m still exploring. While I haven’t mastered everything yet, I’m genuinely impressed by the technology and excited to keep learning. This gimbal is a great investment for anyone wanting to elevate their video content, even if you're starting from scratch like I was. In addition to its ease of use, the iSteady V3 Ultra is packed with advanced features. It includes AI-powered subject tracking, 360° infinite pan tracking, gesture controls to start recording or switch modes hands-free, a built-in 8-inch extension pole, 3-color fill light, and smooth recording. This Hohem gimbal is a smart, powerful companion for creators of all experience levels. The battery life is solid, and the overall performance feels stable and professional. It’s a thoughtfully designed tool that makes high-quality video creation more accessible, even for beginners.
