The songs on this album are great at supporting those who are suffering through the pain of depression and suicidal thoughts, giving them hope for a better life and future. The lead singer shares his experiences through well-written lyrics.

Inspiring and poweful with catchy as well as heavy tracks throughout. Every track is solid from start to finish. I personally love the different emotions each track brings out. Great replay ability.

By far The Color Morale's best work yet! Super positive, unique, hard hitting and just all around incredible. Beautiful riffs, lyrically ingenious. I love this album.

I love The Color Morale, and this CD is very good, but it has too much of those electronic effects on it for my liking. It doesn't ruin the CD or anything... just makes me skip some tracks. The song "Suicide Stigma" with Dave from We Came As Romans is great, though.

I loke this album, but am not giving it 5 stars due to that lack of musicianship. Great lyrics though. I recommend checking out the bands previous 3 albums.

There's a few unique things about The Color Morale. One being Garret (the lead singer)'s voice, and my absolute favorite, the genuine love for their fans. This album is lyrically the best one released in 2014. 'Hold On Pain Ends' is full of songs that appeal directly to problems people are facing every day, and it's going to become an outlet. An escape. That's a sign of a brilliant band with intelligent and caring people. How could you not adore it?

With 'Suicide;Stigma' and 'Outer Demons' being the first songs I heard and fell in love with off this album, I didn't think it could get any better. But The Color Morale has blew my mind with every "Hold On Pain Ends" track. The genuine lyrics, along with Garret's incredible vocals and the band's rockin' instrumentals, easily make Hold On Pain Ends my favorite album of the year.

Another great album from an amazing band, their sound and passion for music really shows through their songs, in their lyrics and I especially like the suicide prevention theme and specifically the song Suicide;Stigma the lyrics are so true and easy to relate to which, in my opinion is the best way to reach people. Love the album :)

An album you can relate to

This album is extremely relatable! The melody is easy and great to listen to, and the lyrics or ones that can hit home for anyone. There is a song for every occasion, but whenever you are feeling isolated from everything, the songs remind you, "You're not alone". Great sound quality and range of instruments and sounds as well!

I love the variety of the album with acoustic songs, hard rock melodies, life messages and the guest appearance from Craig Owens.
Overall, its a wonderful piece of art and I give my thanks to The Color Morale. If you're into this genre, I suggest you listen to Damnaged, outer demons or developing negative off this album.

it's a beautiful album that touches many. and it addresses topics that maybe not everyone knows how to address and this album really presses on those. its a great album to listen to and it honestly makes me feel like crying half the time. My favorite song off the album has to be The Ones Forgotten By The Ones Forgetting.

This album is amazing front to back, the words are deeply influential and are exactly what most of the music scene is lacking: compassion. I just can't go through any day of the week without "Scar Issue" or "Outer Demons" popping into my head! Excited to see where this great release will take them.

The Color Morale was previously known for their post-hardcore ferocity but decided to take a gamble this time around and alter their sound to be more traditionally hardcore, and it paid off beautifully. This album is awesome from start to finish, and I absolutely recommend picking it up!
