I had a Holmes fan like this and it lasted 20+ years so that’s why I bought another. My bedroom doesn’t have a ceiling fan so I use it frequently day and night. Moves a lot of air, though some might be bothered by the noise especially while it’s on high. I actually prefer a modicum of “white noise” while sleeping so personally that’s never been an issue. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.

Very easy to set up and use. The pieces are well built and there isn’t any clicking or rubbing noises when in use. I use this fan at night and the sound it makes is perfect. Not too loud, but not too quiet. It’s a nice and steady rumble. Another plus of this style of fan is how easy they are to clean. Just pop the grates off and a vacuum cleans the dust easily.

It is metal, whereas most fans of this size and style are made of plastic. It is very sturdy with the round metal base and it runs very quietly. It has a long electric cord so you can move it around as needed. We looked at several fans this size and this is definitely the best one of this size and price.
