Get what you pay for

The remote it comes with will need a battery that must be purchased and installed after assembly. Only had one problem with it. Once assembled it does squeek from the base time to time. Not bad for the price though.

Good Price for Great Fan

It became frustrating so I started looking for a very comfortable fan and long behold I went to bestbuy.com.. I ordered this one, put it together and haven't cut my a/c on since.....A must have..

I'm not sure if it overheats over its just a way to save energy. Overall a pretty good fan just not great.
