Okay so I have a fan under my computer desk blowing in such a way that I have a breeze over my sweaty hands, 9 hours a day typing and you'd understand. Anyway I typically replace my fan (when it breaks) yearly or so. Well being its winter I had to order online because stores don't think people need fans in the winter. SO, I ordered this fan because it looked like it was the right size and I've had this brand before with at least okay results. Shipping was about the only good thing, it did come in like 2 days. Open the box and there is this JUNK fan. The speed control is in the worst possible place (the back where the wire goes in) and its just offensively loud. Oh and besides that on high it might move 80 CFM of air... I've had battery powered "personal" fans that move more air. Don't waste your time here. Get a Vornado (that's the only fan I'm getting from now on). They ask * Would you recommend this item to a friend? - NO, not even to my worst enemy.
