Works - Does increase the humidity

Does increase the humidity, but does not provide the coverage as advertised related to the room size. Filters that come with the device does not last long. This is our first humidifier (2), so only rating this based on the information shared by the manufacture.

Makes me sleep better

I find I sleep better as I got this with cool mist. The unit is quiet to me although if you are not used to noise in your bedroom, you may need to put it in another room. My husband does not like the digital light that shows the level of humidity, when the unit is on at night. But again, it does not bother me. On another note, it uses regular tap water which alleviates having to purchase distilled water. I really like this unit.

Happy with this product. Easy to fill. Humidifies for approximately 24 hours or more on 1 fill up at high setting. Quiet operation. Small footprint and very portable.

Poor experience with product and support

I purchased this for my son's room to help with the dry air. Unfortunately, in less than two months the motor stopped functioning on it. I understand that anyone can get a bad unit, however, the support is what truly took this a one star rating. I called their support and after half an hour on hold waiting for someone, I hung up. I called the next night and waited almost 45 minutes and finally got support on the phone. The support lady was nice enough, but, I was told the unit I had was out of stock and to call support back in two to three weeks to see if any had come in. If this is how Holmes deals with customers, then this is by far the worst support I've received from a company. Seeing as how I'm not going to go that long without a humidifier in my son's room, I guess I'll be buying another humidifier (not Holmes).
