The chalk color blends in nicely in every room. Easy to setup and connect to my existing 5 WeMo light switches and Nest thermostat (3rd gen) - I now have 5 Google Home devices through my home. My next addition will be a Logitech Harmony Hub to control my home entertainment system. Google’s voice is clear on both the full-size Home and Mini, but playing music suffers on the Mini. Google is Google... full of knowledge, capabilities, and potential. Very capable today, and I’m looking forward to future improvements via free software upgrades.

The two most popular options for home control are generally Google and Amazon. I recommend the Google home platform versus the Amazon devices, as Google seems to have much better/variety of product integrations with non-Google products. I've used both, but now use Google home exclusively for devices. I do use Amazon's streaming and free shipping services though (Amazon Prime subscription, etc.) It sometimes takes a little work to set the devices up through Google home, though. I've found the Google speaker quality on these to be okay, but what do you expect from a little disk? You'd want to step up to the more expensive, larger Google speaker for better sound. I typically listen to my music through a hi-fidelity sound system and speakers, so while not my go to for music, I find these are practical to have around the house to say "Hey Google, turn on/off" and... whatever; turn things off and on, like my lights, TV, Stereo, answer random questions and provide alarms or reminders. Good value for the price, particularly when on sale. I own quite a few I've placed in multiple rooms.

I honestly don’t know all the functionality of this device without compromising too much on my privacy. It has a nice sound quality compare to Alexa but setting up the connections seems little more complicated.

Bought this for my son, he loves it. It is a great addition to his room. Great speaker for the size and helps with any questions he may have.

I can use this in all my room, attached it to the wall and experience voice-based service anytime at a good price. Not bad for the price paid

I purchased this item as an after Thanksgiving sale item. I admit that it was an impulse sale buy. However, after getting it home, I found that the item was easy to set up and fun to use. I like that I can get weather updates, play music and make shopping lists all from using my voice. It also functions as my Hub for the smart home that I am slowly acquiring.

Oh man I thought I was only going to use this for basic questions here and there, but I bought 2 more and the home hub and i talk to this thing all day. Turns my lights on and off, easily call anyone, soooo helpful in the kitchen, and I always get a quick answer to any dumb question I have and theres so much more you can do

Although a good product, it was beat out by the Amazon Echo Dot just because it does more of what I need it to. For some this will win. It does have good sound quality and good features, just not right for me.

Easy to use. Just connect to internet. You are able to listen to the radio by telling it, this is also a speaker, no need to get another one.

Purchased this for my wife - who is not technically oriented. She was able to perform all setup by herself and use quickly. Well done Google!

I use this everyday for everything from getting the news, listening to music, and to sync with multiple home devices. Better than the rest

The sound of the mini is not as good as the full size google home, but does a great job, use it in the garage to get info from google search when working on the car, or to just stream music, nice addition !!!!

Simply plug and play. Everyone in our house hold uses it for a multitude of information ie: recipies, weather,trivia,facts of all types, etc.

We love this google home mini. It is nice to be able to communicate room to room. We also love the ability to play music throughout our home.

Awesome! Great device. Really smart. Volume isn't fantastic, but adequate. Not quite as smart as I wish and I wish there was more compatibility, but there's some hacks to get most things working. Pretty slick.
