The Google Home Mini has been pretty awesome right out of the box. Simple to setup and easy to use. Yes, there needs to be additions to smart home devices it will control and sometimes it's like its 'ever listening' mics simply aren't listening, thus the 4 stars and not 5 for now. The Google Home Mini understands speech much better than the Dot does and for that reason, I personally like it better.

Super cute compact speaker. Great sound, gets very load. Functions perfectly for my small studio apartment. Nice heather great color which I love. Great with any color scheme.

So much fun to use I bought 4 more for every room I use. But it when it's on sale though. $50 a room can be costly. Best use is bathroom as a shower speaker. Leave the phone behind!

East to set up. Response well and offers suggestions if you don’t have particular subscriptions. Sound quality is very good. Takes up little space on shelf.

After the initial set up, using this device is easy to use! You Can get instant information, (weather, news...) have it play music and sync your smart home devices to it. (lights)

Good speaker and music sounds great. Has some issues, but not enough that it makes a difference. The other thing is that it is small and discrete.

This product is super cool. I love how I can change the temperature in my house with just the sound of my voice. I also can turn the lights on and off and even tell it which color.

Its like a personal Assistant right at home. Life is easier i dont have to pick up my phone for alot of stuff now. Kids love to play music and "call santa" LOL. My mom also loves it and you know the elderly does not like technology but its simple to use and lots of fun and uself stuff to do.

I love all of my Google products. I use my mini as my alarm reminders and it gives me weather updates every morning. Music sounds good on it too. It is a great help to me.

Purchase google home last year and used it a lot,including moving it around the house. Purchased this mini version and really like the smaller inconspicuous size. The touch controls are not as easy to tap as the google home. Just took a little getting used to.

the mini is the perfect addition across multiple rooms since we have speaker systems that we can hook it up to. It is great to help in the kitchen with cooking and the office for finances. Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he loves having access to Google at the sound of his voice.

The product was an excellent purchase for me since I enjoy listening to music when I am in the mood. The color blends with my decor and it is very easy to program.

I have a google home in my living area and use it to listen to my favorite singers. I needed to replace my radio by my bed. The google mini has filled this need.

I was skeptical at first with all of the smart assistants until I got use to using the Google Home Mini. My apprehension stemmed from not wanting all of my personal data floating around for someone to grab until I realized that I use a Pixel phone so they have it anyway. Once I got over this hurdle I have really enjoyed using this product. I mostly use it for controlling my smart home, lights etc. I do ask questions of it sometimes but mostly used to extend my command range for lights and stuff. I would recommend picking one or two up and giving them a try I feel that you will be pleasantly surprised.

I only bought this since it was a good price on Black Friday and this has been more helpful than I expected. Not only can you ask it anything and can control your smart home but it also works a nice sized speaker for your room.

just like my S8 google search but handier than tracking down my phone all the time.
