Nice idea, cheap parts and design make this a fail

I love making breakfast for my family so a tool that can help with that seems great on paper. Unfortunately this item was very cheaply constructed and some of the aspects of it just make no sense. Yes it's a vertical press for bacon, but the middle plate doesn't heat up so you have to open it mid process and flip the bacon over. The lower plates are spring loaded but not easily removable for cleaning. Nothing is machine washable silo it gets hard to maintain. Overall a simple horizontal griddle press would be better used. Don't waste your time or money. I would not recommend this item to a friend.

Waist Of My Money !!!

By that time, it was too late to return it. It heated up, and I put in bacon, and it started cooking, but it stopped after about a minute, and never came back on.
