This action filled adventure with Jason Stastham as a former law enforcement agent deqaling with the enemies of the present and past is good fun.

This is one of my favorite movies I would recommend it to anybody

The screen play written by Sylvester Stallone and directed by Gary Fleder is a well paced crime thriller with a familiar plot. Phil Broker (Jason Statham) will go to any lengths to protect his young daughter from the local psychotic drug dealer, Gator Bodine (James Franco), whose nephew has ignited a feud by bullying her on the playground. Winona Ryder and Kate Bosworth give believable performances as Bodine's girlfriend and drug addicted sister. Blu-ray, dvd, digital copy with limited special features 2.40:1 aspect ratio

Homefront was written by Stallone but he decided to let Jason Statham star instead and it was a great decision. Statham plays it cool calm and collected throughout but when it's time to protect his daughter, nothing can stand in his way. He handles the action scenes with ease. The pace and story are top notch,

If your a Jason Stratham fan, you should enjoy this movie. It's got some atypical moments from what you'd normally expect for this actor, as well as the usual skillful butt kicking. It's an interesting variation on the bad guys figuring out a good guys former identity.

A father and daughter living in Louisiana are found by evil men from the father's past undercover work as a FBI agent. The father is out manned and out gunned but is continually protecting his daughter through this action packed thriller.

There's something about the quiet setting of this community that, from the beginning of the movie puts you on alert. Then, just as you're trying to figure that out, a young girl takes down the class bully. ...enter her father. But wait, the ride is just beginning, and you can't call the sheriff... he's not being paid to help.

If you're looking for a deep, thought provoking, meaningful movie go elsewhere. If you're looking for a great action movie to be entertained by grab this one. If you're a Statham fan you'll love this movie.

An excellent Jason Statham movie going beyond an action thriller, and delving into some character development, with a few unexpected twists. This movie with a few changes in the script could have been 'Safe Pt.2. Nevertheless this is still an excellent movie.

If your a Jason Statham fan, this movie is for you. Decent acting, OK story, and great action. The only possible downside is Franco - he seems confused on how best to play the baddie. Still, it's not enough to ruin the enjoyment of the film.

It is an action flick. If you are looking for something other than that move on. Nothing comical, has some father / daughter moments. Like I said, it is an action movie and I want 25 points for reviewing. :-) Seriously, I would watch it again without hesitation.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this movie but after watching it I can definately say it was well worth it. I thought James Franco's role would've been a little different but overall he did great. I can imagine a lot of small towns similar to this.

It's a Jason Statham movie,folks! If you are looking for the next Oscar contender this isn't it, but if you want some action and a good distraction from the norm, then give this a shot. He's a single dad in the movie trying to do right by his kid.

Jason Statham has moved on with his life seeking a small, quiet town to raise his daughter...but finds trouble along the way. I love his movies because the action and fight scenes are believable... and not so far-fetched that it stretches ones imagination.

Jason Statham's character uses his strong, powerful, and professional marshal art towards James Franco(bad person) and more of those whom has no moral in their lives. It has thrill, platonic love, action, and justice in small town.

This movie is a departure yet familiar terrain for Mr. Statham, penned by his expendable costar Sylvester Stallone, it has an old school yet new school feel to it, and not to mention a redneck James Franco. What is not to like?

Ex DEA agent retires to a small southern town and you just know the local bad boys will underestimate this quiet family man. With superb video and a very loud soundtrack, it's all you need for a couple of hours of no-brainer entertainment.

Take the title of the review for what would like it to mean. It seems that all his movies are basically the same concepts, but it is an okay watch if you are in the mood what it is.

I really enjoyed this movie action packed it had a good plot to it there was never a dull moment. Good quality actors it was a lil over priced and it took me a while to find this movie but it was well worth it though!!!

this was one of the best movies I have seen in a while. I recommended this to a few friends and they have all had great things to say about it. its based on a book and they did a fantastic job sticking with the story.
