Very nice, easy to use safe

There is padding inside, but if you use the attached handle, the padding would be pointless. I use it to store prescription medications and it has worked very well.

If you scroll down the page and click on the specifications tab you will see the exact dimensions in inches are 5.5" H x 12.8" W x 10.25" D. It comes with a concealed hinge and a carry handle to make transporting this Honeywell digital steel security box easy. The touch-key pad delivers solid security, and the double steel wall construction prevents unauthorized access. It could be used as a first aid or cash box for those attending fundraising events, outings, youth camping trips, or stored in your home or office. Moisture can get trapped inside any fire resistant safe if it is not opened frequently. Because the safe is designed to keep fire out, it keeps all fresh air out, which can cause the moisture inside to build up. All Honeywell Safes come with silica gel packs to help reduce moisture. Directions for use of the silica gel packs and keeping moisture out of the security box are included in the package.
