This air conditioner works QUICKLY and pushes out nice, cold air. The dehumidifying function is wonderful. The window connector can be a little cumbersome to get in the right place if you are taking it in and out of the window instead of leaving it in full-time. There are some SMALL spaces where the window device is uneven. No matter...we use a couple of rags and close them in the window to plug the holes. The fan runs constantly, even when it is not cooling, unlike a window unit. It is louder than I would like (not outrageous), but the cool air is totally worth it. Good wheels--they roll easily.

This was very affordable and easy to install and get working. Though it will cool one room really well, it has the capacity to cool multiple areas - I set up a fan by the door to push some air out into the hallway and room across the room I have it in and that room is cool as well. Highly recommend this.

Purchased this air conditioner at the right time. Worked well during the previous and current heat wave. Easy setup and portable able to move from room to room without difficulty. Cooled my bedroom quickly and kept me comfortable.

Will cool 400sq ft room quickly and maintain temp well. Install is easy and noise isn't overwhelming. Display isn't the best, but cool air was much more satisfying than the display!

best air conditioner i've ever owed... so quit can even hear it... remote is so simple to work... a kid could use it... vented it out a small window that leads to my porch..simple took 15 minutes... so far have not had to drain tank... live in south florida... so it's hot and humid.... love it...

I purchased this unit specifically to cool down an upstairs bedroom. It was easy to set up and we had it up and running in no time. It cooled the room quickly and did exactly what I wanted. We have hard wood floors so it is easy to roll around. Not sure how easy it would roll on carpet. Its really nice to have the remote control.

Needed a portable unit for our room and this one works great. It's easy to move and doesn't take up much space. Cools down the room in no time.

unit is easy to set up. extra vent part that closes up opening to outside venting when raining or not in use. Has remote control for easy on /off temperature control/fan/dehumidifier. Wheels make it easy for moving around when needed. Cool room nicely.

My major concern was noise and it’s not too noisy. Cools well and comes with everything you need except a pan to drain the condensate. I would recommend buying some foam strips for around the window vent. This replaced a mid-priced window unit that was fairly noisey. This unit you can go anywhere with the vent hose long as you’re about 5 feet from the window. The unit is in a large upstairs bedroom in a house with the central air. Cools down the room with no issue.

This is my first portable unit that required a vent be fed outside but this was wonderful. The directions literally detailed what we needed to do to get it started. It keeps our entire room cool and, while it is a little loud, it works better than I could have hoped!

Live in South Texas and bought this to cool a room off the main house not connected to the central ac. I always had a window unit but I always hated that is took up most of the window and view. This is perfect and will freeze you out. The only negative thing I have to say is that I do not like that it never shuts off even when the desired temp is reached... this probably has something to do with how it gets rid of condensate but still... I hate to leave the house with this running nonstop. I wish it had the option to put on auto and I would deal with the condensate... empty daily, run a line outside, etc... However, I am very happy with the purchase and seems to be a great product so far. Had it about 2 months as of writing this post. We'll see how it gets through a South Texas Summer!

This AC has done a great job of keeping our bedroom (and upstairs for that matter) at a reasonable temp since we have had way more hot days than usual. Just a couple little things that warrented 4 instead of 5 stars: The included window partition thing was not long/tall enough for our window and when it automatically goes from cool to fan in the middle of the night, the transition is a little loud and has woken us up a couple of times.

Bedroom is big with high ceilings and this AC was able to keep it cool. Easy to install. One star down for the noice.

I found this AC unit to work very well. It's easy to install and the only downside I have noticed is the volume/noise, it's too loud for me to be able to sleep with it in the bedroom, but works well enough that I can run for awhile and then turn off when I go to bed.

Love everything about this air conditioner. Not too big, easy to install the window venting kit, fairly quiet in air conditioning mode and super quiet on fan mode. It really puts out super cold air. Haven’t used the dehumidifier mode, so can’t speak to that. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating and not a 5 is because it only pushes the air up and side to side. Would be nicer if it could be adjusted lower to feel the cold air blowing on you.

I saw many reviews saying this was very loud yet it was sold out in many locations so I decided to buy it anyway and glad I did, my window fan is way louder than this. It was so hot and humid for days and it still did not take long to get our large living room cool. The more you can seal under doors or windows the faster it gets cold. It's been very high humidity and not once did light come on to drain it in the air conditioner mode. We haven't used it yet in dehumidifier mode but plan to in the basement instead of purchasing a separate unit when cooler weather comes.

Got this to cool my upstairs master bedroom. It’s basically the size of two standard bedrooms plans a bathroom with wall in closet. This AAC does just fine. The days it was 107 outside this ac kept the area I wanted it too cool and I didn’t not have to run the central air to keep both up and down stairs cool. It is a little noisy when it goes from fan mode to AC but It does not bother me.

Its small and cute! You can place it anywhere by the window. Flexible hose will help you move anywhere. I highly recommend this item . Price is worth for this AC

Very easy to setup . Cools of a good amount of my home . Very reasonable for the price as well

On the plus side, they are easy to install and they keep the water inside the unit to be evaporated through the hose. On the bad side, they claim 10000 BTU but they perform like a 6000 unit. They are loud and inefficient and they use way more electricity than a comparable window unit.
