This portable Air Conditioner was a life saver when our central air went out on us. We purchased this portable unit as it was going to be a little over a week for the repair. It worked great and we were able to sleep at night. Kept the room very cool even with it being around 105 with heat index outside. We now moved it to a room that seems to not cool as well and this unit really helps to keep that bedroom cool. Easy set up and easy to move from room to room.

The unit was easily assembled, and was up and running very quickly. It is quite portable, however it MUST have an exhaust to vent hot air. Otherwise you're cooling in the front and heating in the back. It's quite similar to a dryer vent. It says it cools 350 square feet and that's just about right. Don't think it's going to stretch much more than that and just bring the temp down a little. It's designed for a bedroom or a living room, or possibly a man cave or small garage. Being near it has more cooling, and using it in conjunction with a fan may help cool the area quickly. The air that comes out does so with good force/pressure, and the unit is designed so that you can adjust the height that the air exits the machine by a very simple mechanism (think moving the ports around on a cars ac vent). All in all a good little unit. Just don't ask it to do more that it is recommended for. For the price and the square footage a decent window unit is probably better, for if you want to be easily able to go from room to room or take it on a trip this is pretty easy to move around.

In the past, some of the Window Units have caused my double paned windows to fog over time. Didn't want this to happen again, so decided to try this one. It cools my bedroom quickly. I was hoping it might be a bit quieter than it is, but certainly not loud. Unless I could find a quieter unit, I would buy this again.

Definitely cools the vicinity of wherever placed, only cons are the window attachment should come with longer attachments. If you have larger, longer windows it will not fit. Also, can be quite loud and difficult to fall asleep at times.

The air conditioner works great in my room for a super hot day!

I first bought the LG - 400.4 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner, and I returned it because it did not meet my expectations at all. Then, I bought the Honeywell 450 Sq. Ft and I could directly see the difference, it covers my whole living room and it feels very cool during the day. It is very easy to use and it is very powerful. I even bought a second one for my bedroom. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to set-up and operate. Good clean design that easily fits into a corner. Especially good when weather is in the 80s, but I wish it helped more when the temp reaches 95. Overall a good buy and a lot cheaper than in-wall systems and easier to use and more effective than window units.

Works well, cools off entire room. Remote makes it convinient. Installation was simple. Unit is light weight and is on rollers.

This is a very nice affordable air conditioner for the bedroom. It gives out great quality air. I would definitely recommend this air-conditioner to someone who want to cool off a large size bedroom.

This is a great AC that really pumps out the cold air! We keep it in our bedroom and it keeps the room like an ice box. We had it in our living room/kitchen/dining room area for a while and it wasn't as effective. It definitely helped maintain the heat but works much better and makes things much cooler in a smaller room. Overall very easy to use and set up and highly recommend.

Perfectly cools our main room, does not take up much space, easy to install.

This portable AC unit works great. Cooling a garage that is larger than the specified sq. ft. capacity.

My AC unit went out this summer. I live in the south it was 97 degrees upstairs in my bedroom making it completely unbearable. It was 4k to repair which I did not have so I bought this. I keep this in my bedroom with the door closed it works great! No professional installation needed When I leave in the morning to go to work I leave my door open and it keeps the upstairs hallway cool. It works like a champ!

Pros: Easy to set up. No controls on top, so my cat can't turn it on. (I put a small clip on the vent door so it won't get closed by accident) Cons: Remote has very short range. I have 2 of these AC's - Kitchen (aimed at the living Rm) & Spare Rm is aimed at the Bed Rm. They are loud when the compressor kicks in & too loud to be in the same room. One of them makes a wa wa sound.

Pro: great fro small to medium size rooms,cooling pretty fast, and easy to roll from room to room. Con: Quite noisy, i wish the ac unit has a place or slot to put the remove control so it won`t get loss.

Great product if you have a hot spot in your home. It cools the room quickly and extremely easy to install. Minus 1 star because it's kinda loud but I'd rather have white noise all night over stifling summer heat.

This is not a replacement for central air, but it did very well taking the edge off and making the upstairs bedrooms MUCH more comfortable in 90+ degree heat. It is better than a standard window unit because it can easily be moved to any room. I attached a small hose to have it drain out the window as well, which I highly recommend.

This Portable Air Conditioner cools in minutes and stays cold. I was reluctant to purchase the 10, 000 BTU. I wasn’t sure if it would cool 350 SF, it does. I have a 12,000 BTU and it does not cool as fast is this one. The only issue I had was the hose is not long enough for the window attachment and it would detach. I used tape to keep it attached. Other than that this Portable Air Conditioner is worth the purchase. I would recommend.

We purchased this during the recent heat wave in the Seattle area. Our house can get up into the 90's in the living room area when this happens. This unit kept the living room (where we do most of our living!), pets, and us comfortable at about 74-78, which was fine with us. It shuts itself off (only fans runs) when it reaches the temperature you set. Was fairly easy to install, running vent hose out front window. Very satisfied. Dog was very happy.

We are very happy with this purchase. It cools our 10‘ x 16‘ sunroom in no time and is able to maintain the cooling temp once reached. My only knock is that it is a bit noisy other than that it gets the job done.
