Great and efficient air conditioner

We like that you can set it to run for a few hours, or run continuously. It's also nice that you can switch between different modes like fan, cool and heat. We've been running this a lot in the last month with no issues.

Great AC unit

This has been great. It’s in her room but I feel like it helps keep the entire upstairs cooler (just one other room across the hall). And as a bonus it’s great white noise! It was easy to set up and we haven’t really noticed any huge jumps in our power bill.

However awning windows required some improvisation as the included windows pieces only work with sliders or double hung windows. Other reviews indicated it was noisy and they couldn’t sleep. While it does make noise you can adjust the fan speed so it’s a little quieter. Very happy with its performance

It keeps about half of it cool during the summer and is fairly loud. I would recommend this not as a daily driver but only during times of extreme heat.

It's easy to set up and maintain. Just remember to make sure it's been standing upright for about an hour before turning it on if you have to ship it on it's side. Keep the easy-to-remove top and bottom filters clean by vacuuming or washing every other week or so. It's designed for small-to medium-sized rooms.

It's an OK portable AC if you have a small room

The remote is very basic but it does the job.The exhaust hose and attachments are flimsy. It does cool down a small room. It says it can cool a room 400sq ft, my family room is just about 300sq ft and this unit at full blast turned all the way down to 68 degrees will keep the room at about 76-78 degrees. So it does an ok job.

The discreet window heat outlet complies with my apartment complex rules. The unit works as an AC, Fan, and dehumidifier. It's not too loud and keeps the place cold with a simple timer when I return from work. The dehumidifier hasn't filled up the internal tank yet, once summer gets more humid it may need to be finaly drained. It doesn't come with a drain house but has the option to attach one. It gets the job done of cooling a single room.

I got it to use in my bedroom, but ended up using it in another room because it is noisy when the compressor kicks on and I am a light sleeper. It is easy to install and operate.

A great Portable Air Conditioner for hot days!

I had to measure & cut a piece of floor wood to make a much better one. Other than that the 10,000 BTU Honeywell portable air conditioner work great! It is able to keep our 400 square feet living room cool in CA. I did not need to empty any condensing water yet. All the condensing water seemed to be exhausted through the window vent. There is not any water leak yet either.

Also nice that it can just be moved or used as a dehumidifier if necessary. for air conditioning - it needs a window to remove the hot air. the thing is also a little loud and HEAVY - but that’s to be expected.

Great air conditioner, just needs tiny adjustments

A little noisy, but I didn't loose sleep over it. The only thing I found a little wrong, was the window cover for the exshust air. The adjustable attachment that it comes with, uses small plastic thumb screws which lock into place when trying to fit into window. And since the exhaust pipe tends to be too heavy for the attachment, the thumb screws seem to come right off the attachment. Also, it could use a better window cover for Windows that open sideways, there were too many gaps around the attachment making it easy for air to escape, and hot air to come in.

We only keep this unit in the main living area. Our entire family spends time in this room just because the temperature is refreshing! Expensive, but worth every nickle. If I were to make any suggestion, it would be a longer hose...for older homes with higher windows.
