This is the newest version of Honeywell's Pedestal Fan. I also have the older version and reviewed it here earlier. They may have made this fan even quieter. It was very quiet at the lowest speeds but now you can not hear it even at top speeds. They have improved the base making it heavier and more stable. The only reason I have given the fan 4 out of 5 stars is because they have removed the handle and complicated the height adjuster. Now instead of a threaded knob to tighten when you adjust the height they built in the adjustment - pneumatic I believe. It takes a bit to get used to it. But the worst change was removing the wire handle on the fan blade cage. So instead of just single-handedly moving it you must use two hands - often causing the need to readjust the height.

It’s almost too quiet. It makes almost no noise. I use it in my room for white noise and to cool it off, for that purpose, it’s not worth it. As it’s too quiet to make it noisy. It blows well and the remote is nice. So it gets a good review, just wish it’s “white noise” setting was noisy.

Purchased this fan on sale for $49.99. Easy to assemble, comes with a remote (Nice), and the height adjustment feature works very well. The best part is that this fan is quiet...!!! My only complaint lies with the fan screen mounting clips that could be a bit tighter, but definitely not a deal breaker, highly recommend this product....!!!

Good fan. Quiet, nice option for multiple speeds. I use it frequently on the sleep setting since I can’t sleep in silence. The remote is nice as well. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. I keep it by on my nightstand so I can adjust the speed during the night as needed. Only knocked off one star as the plastic piece that keeps the fan in place when you adjust the height won’t stay in, so the fan will occasionally drop down to minimum height and lean forward when the piece falls out. It’s annoying, but not the end of the world. Still works perfectly find for my needs.

Value for the money. Relatively silent with remote control.

quiet and works well... bright blue light can be taped over to keep room dark... it's not a fan to move from room to room.... the pole doesn't stay up straight... fan topples it a bit

While it does job, it was difficult to set up. The clips to secure the grill were stuck & one actually broke off. I had to ever so gently pry them open with a flathead screwdriver. Luckily, there are 5 so it's holding. But when it comes time to clean it, I have a bit of trepidation that the clips will function to remove and secure again. I may be a bit nit picky here but, the remote is round and flimsy. Used to the rectangular shape. It is quiet and oscillates well. Only paid $52 for it so I'm just a bit disappointed.

Easy to assemble and keeps me cool. Though its not keeping the whole house cool, its keepinge nice and maintained. Recomment for your room !

The fan works great however, set up was kinda hard. The instructions are not the best but take your time and you’ll get it. The locking mechanism for height was a little bit difficult to use but eventually got it to work. It leans forward like it is top heavy however if you aren’t really looking at it you won’t realize it. Overall, I’ve had better fans that were simpler to set up but, it works now and I have no issues.

Bought this twice already. Extremely quiet fan. Easy to disassemble to clean. Only issue is the second one I bought has a much shorter wire to plug it in than the first one! Other than that, I highly recommend it. Comes with a remote control also.

It is a good semi quiet Fan. It is not as quiet as the last model but it works good and put out a lot of air. Sturdy heavy base. Love the remote control and how it operates.

The assembly was easy, and the sound is quiet. It is effective at a substantial distance and the remote control adds convenience.

This fan is really awesome. You can switch the strength of the wind. I love the 'silent mode' when I sleep. The remarkable thing is that it is really silent. The noise doesn't make me bothered during the sleep at night.

this floor model is of superior construction and operates by a remote for various speeds etc.. Easy to set up. Don't waste your time buying floor fans from other retailers like Target whose models are sheer flimsy junk. This is the best.

This is definitely a quiet fan, I’ll give it that. However, it is below average in terms of blowing air. Given that a fan’s purpose is to blow air to cool, I think this fan meets the minimum expectation. I wouldn’t purchase it again, and I wouldn’t recommend if strong air flow is a priority. If quiet and gentle air is what’s desired, then this is the fan for you.

I bought this honeywell electric fan for my living room. It is quiet and the remote control iseasy to use . I like it.

This is the quietest fan I’ve ever owned. Operates very well at any speed and the remote control is a nice feature

Very quiet and simple to put together. The rotate is little slow for me on lower settings and rotate is activated by button on the fan and not by remote so you’ll have to get up to rotate. Range of the remote isn’t the best sometimes, 5ft or 15ft not sure why it’s inaccurate sometimes. Base is pretty solid won’t tip over as easy as cheaper fans. The height adjustment is simply just pulling upward but I’ve noticed it slides down sometimes
