Did not notice any difference in air quality

I bought this after doing some research but found no noticeable difference in air quality even at the strongest setting and after running it for 8 hours (max sleep setting). I'm not sure how this work but the setup seems a little odd. You put a foam piece in the back over the filter but the filter itself seems to simply allow air to pass through. It had a honeycomb design - really small but not microscopic - but nothing that looked to me could that could actually stop particles. I ended up returning the unit and switched the kids to another allergy med instead.

Plus the button ink has started to rub off which is annoying especially cause of how much I paid for it

It did not do what i needed it to do for smoke
