Was very pleased with the Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat. Price from BestBuy.com was competitive, and actually arrived earlier than anticipated. Installation was easy, and I'm a bit of a novice. The unit looks great, and the Wi-Fi interface was flawless and seamless......it picked up router immediately. The Honeywell website used to register the device was a bit awkward and didn't work well, but the Android app completed the set-up. I've linked it to my Amazon Echo, and is now voice-controlled with no problems - actually, I'm quite impressed at how compatible things are working. (Keeping fingers crossed, here.) The thermostat itself is great, and keeps a more constant temperature within the house than any other thermostat I've used. The only reason I give this device 4 stars is the display is smaller than I would have liked; the fonts are too small with the exception of the current temperature. The backlight and customized background colors are impressive however. Overall, a solid 4-star purchase.

I purchased a house last year and the thermostat did not work with the furnace. I have had 3 other thermostats before this one, including another wifi one though my alarm company. I think the reading is accurate, my house feels comfortable, I love the app and I'm a very satisfied customer!

I got this to replace a programmable older unit with no Wi-Fi. This unit is perfect for what I want, complete control from anywhere and a way to monitor your house's temperature when away. There are other units out there than "learn" your schedule but you have to give them a learning period and keep setting them. This one is for the control freaks, like me, that want to set a schedule to follow and then adjust it when necessary. The customization of the screen colors is great too so that you can match the colors in your room. Best yet, this thing just works. Period. Lots of bugs with other units from what I have seen/heard from other homeowners.

Easy setup and easy to install. Was able to connect and use very fast and helps me save energy costs when unexpectedly out of the house longer than planned.

Installation was easy with you have a C-wire. Once installed setup was fast and system was running right after. Touchscreen response is smooth and programming it was a breeze.

I purchased two nests when I had my two units installed last month, one upstairs one downstairs. I immediately did not like the Nest, and returned them for these. These are easy to install, setup, program, and are very sleek and easy on the eyes. I have set mine to run against my utility schedule so they operate and set temperatures depending on peak and off-peak utility pricing to keep costs down while being efficient. I have had them for a month now, and I'm positive these have helped me save an additional 5-10% on my electric bill on top of my new 16 seer units saving me an additional 40% over my old 8 seer units. Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed these.

Only issue I had with the product was not having a full explanation for installation. I called their customer service and received a quick response to my problem. Went out and bought what was needed the same day. It would be awesome if the product came with all possible required parts. Ease of use for the website and app is phenomenal! I would definitely buy again given the opportunity.

Easy to install, but needed to verify an extra wire by using Honeywell tech support. The thermostat is working great and able to monitor using the smartphone app. Would recommend to anyone.

So much better than my old programmable thermostat! It was easy to install and setup. I love the ability to use my phone to control/monitor my thermostat. I love all of the options. You can take the easy route on programming it or if you want, I was able to go in and set everything the way I wanted it. With the outside temp being displayed it lets my family easily decide to grab a coat or not on their way out. You can also view the weather for the day. We've had it for 3 weeks now and had a chance to see how great the 'auto mode' is. It handled the outdoor temp changes so much better that our old one to keep us comfortable.

This is the second one I've purchased for my two zone system. Like the idea that it can he controlled via iOS app. Otherwise it's just a fancy standard thermostat. Be are that on an older system you may have to connect a power wire. Was pretty simple to do. Instructions are very clear. Setup took less than 15 minutes from removal of old thermostat to installation of new.

This unit does require the installation of a 5th "C" wire for most forced air systems. I purchased two of these thermostats for the two HVAC units in my house. A 50' spool of 18-AWG 5-lead wire was $17 at my local hardware store. Installation (including running new wire) took about one hour for each unit. Each unit did require a software update that was automatic and brief--lasting about 5 minutes. After this update, controlling either unit from our smartphones functions flawlessly. Programming the schedules was easily done from a laptop. I recommend this unit over other popular self-learning thermostats if you prefer to manually program a schedule!

Very easy to set up and install. Loved being able to change the colors even though I could not find one to match the walls, I was able to coordinate it. I like that I am able to turn up the heat when I am leaving work so I walk into a warm house. Yes, it does have programming but I do not always leave work at the same time. It shows the outdoor temp as well as my programmed set tem and the humidity level in the house. Overall, great product.

Awesome Thermostat!! I like the ease of operation and the full color touch screen. I have not set up the Wi-Fi feature yet, but plan to soon. My furnace seems to be operating in a very sufficient manner. I urge everyone to get the Honeywell brand; you won't be disappointed!!

This wifi termostat was a Christmas gift to my wife. She loves it, especially the fact she can control the bedroom tempertaure by her phone. Plus it is programable for each day of the week. We are looking forward to saving some money on our winter and summer energy bills.

I have seen other WiFi thermostats installed in which the app doesn't work very well. This Wifi thermostat works really well. Nice option to have is to change the color of the background, even though I have chosen to keep the 'blue' background which is default.

This is a great thermostat. I love changing the temperature with my phone...in the middle of the night, if I am too warm or too cold, I simply change it from my phone and presto! back to sleep I go. Another benefit: very easy set up. And it's very easy to use. Plus, it doesn't shut off for no reason like my previous thermostat did randomly...

This Thermostat is great for the price, and was simple to set up. Easier than the Nest it replaced. However, I'm giving this 4 Stars only because the app could be better. This is where the Nest shines in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the Honeywell app isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Overall, I'd definitely purchase again.

I think this is a great simple pleasure. Being able to adjust when you are not home from your phone is a luxury that is worth the money. Just make sure they price match a certain large online retailer because Bestbuy's price is not inline with the market.

I love the look and convenience of the Honeywell thermostat. It was easy to install. I installed the thermo in my second home and I love the convenience of checking current temperature and the ability to adjust the temperature via my smart phone!

I really like it, I don't have to get off the bed to adjust the temperature. I have it all scheduled. The app works perfect! Easy to install, however the installation people are NOT so helpful.
