The thermostat works very well with the Honeywell app but does not work at all with Apple HomeKit as advertised. I spent an hour with a Honeywell tech department over the phone but couldn't get this device to work with HomeKit

I returned this product because it could not control "primary" on humidity levels. In Fl, we need to control our humidly levels to keep our homes mold free and secondarily control temperature. I spent an hour with on-line and telephone Support, with no avail. Hopefully Lyric will update it's programming to accomplish this function.

Just spend the extra money and get a Nest! It's not a "smart" thermostat it's literally just a programmable one you can control with a phone.

HomeKit doesn't work and geofencing only works sporadically.

I recently upgraded from an older wifi Honeywell Thermostat and since this thermostat integrates with SmartThings I choose this over the Nest. The install was incredibly easy and the look of the thermostat is sleek. The app that controls the thermostat is simple and I've had no issues despite the low rating in the Play store. The geofencing (proximity on/off) works like a charm and has proven to be quite useful and it works seamlessly with SmartThings hub. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, sleek thermostat that is running a SmartThings hub home.

I purchased the Lyric 2 thermostat to work with my overall Samsung SmartThings Hub, and it was seamlessly compatible! I really liked the easiness of installation (I did it myself and it wasn't hard at all) as well as the quickness with which to set it up. I was replacing a simple knob thermostat that is a two-wire system and the full installation took my less than 20 minutes (which was awesome and surprisingly quick).

This thermostat works great fro both manual and automatic adjustments, however the Homekit integration as well as the geofencing are quite terrible. Even though this thermostat is supposed to work with Homekit I can neither control it with my voice or use the Apple Home app to control it no matter what I attempt to do to make it work. The geofence is also so glitchy and innacurate that I was forced to turn it off completely as it would go into home and away mode when I was still at work. These things should NOT be an issue on a "smart" thermostat a this price point and it needs to be fixed or replaced desperately.
