This humidifier has been useful during the winter months in a dry climate. It's very quiet so that it can run through the night. I would recommend using distilled water to avoid scale build up, especially if you live in an area where you have hard water.

It works for what it is, but there are better options out there. I normally look for a top-fill humidifier, and keep a jug of water next to it to so I can keep it full. This one, you have to take the top off and unlock a fill lid. You may drip water around during this activity. Only half-gallon capacity, but it wouldn't be ungainly to give it a larger tank. Mist is fine, it's quiet, and auto-off works. Looks relatively easy-to-clean. Be sure to use distilled water, or you may get white dust build-up from hard water. It's harmless, but it's a feature of all misting humidifiers. Evaporative wick humidifiers are louder, so not as suitable for a bedroom, but they're more efficient. I got it because it seems to be the only small humidifier that Best Buy has in-store. If I wasn't using points, I would have found one elsewhere with more capacity and top-fill and maybe a white color option.

The humidifier is probably a few dollars more expensive than it should be, but for a small room it works well. I fill it with water every night and have to turn it out to its full output for a 10 x10 room.

It is easy to use and helps with the dryness of the room. I only wanted a table top model so I still have to use a saline spray because my house is very dry.

After reading some favorable reviews I decided to go for it... I like the way it looks and it's size... However, the first one I got developed a leak from the top of the unit, right underneath where the mist comes out. Brought it back and now have the second one for about 2 weeks. So far, so good. I hope it lasts because it is quiet and produces a good mist. Would I recommend? If you like it's size and looks, yes, give it a shot!
