Works just as well as the Nest. I’ve had both, and this works perfectly and is half the price of the Nest! The wiring needing adjusting when I installed it and Honeywell customer service texted with me to get it up and running.

Very easy to install. I recommend taking a picture of your original thermostat wiring before removal. The pic will be used as a reference when installing the new one. Very easy to setup with the phone app but if your internet goes offline, you will have to manually reconnect either on the app or on the panel. One improvement I will like to see is a wireless temp sensor that can be placed in another room.

I had the Nest Thermostat and always had issues, was told to switch to this and I will never go back. Works great and easy setup.

This thermostat is awesome. If you dont have one get one! You can adjust this home thermostate from your smartphone. So convenient!

I bought a nest originally and it did not program with my wiring. I should have just bought the Honeywell originally but the nest came with a free google home. Needless to say after troubleshooting with the nest csr I decided to purchase the Honeywell. Honeywell has exceeded all of my expectations and makes me very happy. I can’t believe how big of a difference there is. Saving money also on my power bill!

Love this wifi thermostat! My HVAC system did not come with a C wire and I was able to attach the supplied wiring harness adaptor in order to use this thermostat in my home. That and the Geofence option makes this a must have. Using GPS, the system knows where I am at and will adjust the temperature settings to a preconfigured level when I am within 5 miles of my home. And vice versa of course.

Easy to set up and get going, and Honeywell just did an update where it shows the outside temp in the app, so it won’t be long until it can learn to adjust according to the outside temp. I’d say the most difficult part is understanding what it means by how many a/c and heating units you have when setting up...so not difficult hardly at all! Haha

Was looking to be able to remotely control my thermostat without spending too much. This has worked great for us. Getting the Honeywell account activated did give a little hassle since it would not send the email to a yahoo account. It's nice to have my routine setup for when I leave and return home.

I like how it’s easy to setup and how it connects to my phone so it knows when I’m home and when I’m not. My 2500 sq ft house has the same energy bill as a 900 sq ft apartment because of this thing.

It is nice, but the instructions and description are not that accurate. I can't figure out how to make it "learn my habits" and it states that it will auto switch from heat to cool, and I have yes been able to force it to that.
