I am a believer in humidifiers since moving from Seattle (humid) to Denver (dry). Humidifiers have helped me with sinus issues, dry skin and just feeling blah. I especially love this humidifier because it is easy to fill, has a large basin and is simple to use. Other humidifiers have been a pain to fill up, I usually end up spilling water everywhere. This one I can either fill up in the bathtub or with a water pitcher. It runs a lot longer than humidifiers I've use in the past. I put this next to my bed at night and run it for 3 or 4 nights on the same tank! It is light weight and easy to move, for when I bring it with me in other rooms in the house or when I go to other places to stay (like up to the ski mountains). One thing about this humidifier, is that it is not exactly the easiest to clean, which is the same as every other one I've owned. They are all a pain to clean. I haven't needed to change the filter out yet, but they seem readily available and aren't too pricey. Really happy with the ease of this humidifier and even more happy with the tank size!

This would be perfect for a small/medium size room. Assembly: When I first received this humidifier, I was intimidated by all of the parts that came with it, however the instructions were concise and clear on how to assemble this powerful little machine. There also was a filter included in case you have hard water. Ease of use: The best part about this humidifier was how easy it was to refill the water basin. You can either take it out from the humidifier itself and refill it at the sink, or you can take a pitcher to it to refill it. Did it help with dry throats/low humidity? This little humidifier bumped up our overall humidity in our home by five degrees. We were at 30% humidity and now we're at 35%. My throat and dry cough is also gone from the cold, dry air. I've had this humidifier running for about a week straight and it has definitely done it's job well. I would highly highly recommend it!

This particular model is black and uses ultrasonic technology to evaporate the water which makes them significantly quieter than other machines. The only time we actually hear the machine is if there is literally no other noise in the room at the time. This Honeywell humidifier holds 1.25 gallons and is able to run 36 hours on a single fill, with automatic shut-off when the water tank is empty which is great! It is perfect for medium to large sized rooms. The TopFill designs makes it easy to fill by pouring water into the water tank, or even removing the water tank and running it under the faucet. This model requires no filters, which is a bonus for me, as all of our previous humidifiers required expensive filters. I received this humidifier a week ago and I have been so happy with this product. My whole family suffers from dry skin and dry mouth during the winter so we were really excited to try this product. The manual instructions were really clear and well-written. It was so easy to set this up- it only took minutes! I love that it comes with a filter for more purified water. The reservoir is so large that I don't have to refill it often at all. Also, it's so modern and sleek-looking that I love to leave it out on the table. Currently, I live in the desert so the air is already dry, you add winter months coming onto that where the heater is turned on at night and it really just dries your body out, not all the lotion in the world can keep your skin moisturized. When I received this humidifier I was excited optimistic and excited to try it and see if it would make any difference. It was super easy setup and I had it up and running in a couple of minutes. I've been using it a little over a week now, I run it all night and some of the hours during the day. It's made a huge difference in just that short amount of time. When I wake up my face no longer feels dry and tight, I am able to put lotion on in the morning and not have to continually repeat it through the day to keep from drying out. I just can't believe I didn't think to get one of these sooner. The coolest feature about this particular humidifier, it's very quiet. I keep it on a stand in my living room and you can't even hear that it is on. Not only that, the sleek black design makes it look great as a piece of furniture in the room. I highly recommend this product, and I look forward to it's continued use, it's going to be a lifesaver this winter!!! This humidifier was easy to set up and was ready to start humidifying in less than 15 minutes. I love the sleek black design of the Honeywell humidifier, so it can look great in any room of the house. I do feel it's slightly larger than I'd prefer, however that means it lasts longer without having to refill the reservoir. There is only a quiet trickle sound now and again, which actually is quite soothing. No real hum or buzzing sound, which is great. I also like that there is a nozzle that can be moved in a circular direction to blow the humidified air in the direction you'd prefer. We like to use the humidifier whenever our daughters have a cold and have trouble breathing, or on the cold dry winter nights were some moisture is preferred in the air. During winter months I need to use a good humidifier to help reduce bloody nose, irritated throat, dry mouth, itchy skin and dry lips because my bedroom is so dry from the heater. I recently got the Honeywell Removable Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier. The Honeywell Removable Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier and I'm impressed! It is really quiet and has a large 1.25-gallon tank, to use in large rooms. It is extremely easy to put together, it only took me 5-7 minutes. It comes with a filter but you don’t need one to operate it. There are 2 easy ways to add water and has visible water window with a line that tells you when to stop filling the water. The rotating mist nozzle allows you to control the location you prefer the moisture to go and shuts down automatic when water is empty. My doctor told me it is important to clean all humidifiers daily. I clean mine with water and vinegar and dry it with a small towel to reduce bacteria buildup which can get anyone sick. I definitely recommend it!

I have 4 kids at home and have been through a few different humidifiers, but this one is my favorite so far! I love how easy it was to setup and refill. Not to mention, the tank lasts a while before having to refill again which is great for a busy (forgetful) mom. It has kept some nice comfortable moisture in the house even with our heat cranked up for winter! Been using for a couple years. Works pretty well, however even with distilled water and demineralization cartridge upkeep you will still get the white stuff. The out put swivels do you can direct it though. Besides this is an expected aspect of ultrasonic models. Everything comes apart nicely for easy cleaning, which should be done regularly with any water based appliance. The mist is cool, which depending preference, season and climate this may or may not be desirable. Personally I use this and a Honeywell steam humidifier in tandem next each other, and they sit on a table near a heater that emits dry heat so as to balance it all out. I use smart plugs to provide control from my bed. The other side of the master uses a Honeywell BT air purifier with vertical output and a Honeywell fan in front to pull the filtered air forward and create a cross breeze with the heat to balance that as well since the wall heater is the only thing I can’t control from bed. The synergy works well for me.

The Honeywell Ultrasonic Humidifier is a handy little gadget to have during the dry winter months. I have been using it in my bedroom at night and find that I have been waking without clogged up sinuses. It runs very quiet, so it doesn't disturb my sleep. I how simple it was to assemble right out of the box, and I had it up and running within minutes of unboxing. The top fill feature is awesome because I don't have to continuously remove the water reservoir to refill. It does hold a lot of water, which can be a plus or a minus. A plus if you don't plan on moving the unit from room to room because the take stays full for quite some time. A minus if you are planning on using it in multiple rooms because with all of that water, it is a bit heavy to tote around. I do have an open concept space in my living room and find that it didn't work so well there, but for the bedrooms which are smaller, it's worked wonderfully. *I received this product free for testing purposes. This is definitely the best humidifier I own and I’ve been purchasing humidifiers from Honeywell for years now! I love this brand and I trust it! This humidifier is SO QUIET! My husband would complain about our old humidifier because it was so loud and it made it difficult for him to sleep at night. My favorite feature about this humidifier is the fact that it doesn’t have a filter! I hated soaking, cleaning, and replacing the filters! My other favorite feature about this is the automatic shut off when the water runs out. I’m so glad they came up with this because I’ve left my humidifier on, wasting energy, without knowing it was empty! I also love the large window to show the water fill line clearly so I know when it’s getting low. I’ve been using this humidifier for about a month now and love it! The first time I used it, I used regular tap water and did experience the white dust deposit of calcium surrounding my humidifier. This was easily fixed by using distilled water. I've had quite a few humidifiers over the years and most barely put out enough mist to make you think it's working. This one however I've had to scale back from maximum a couple times because the room will be in a fog. That coupled with the huge water capacity and the ability to fill it directly from the top though the funnel shaped lid without opening anything makes this the best I've ever had.

I have never had a humidifier before though I had heard lots of people talk about using them to relieve respiratory issues. We have a couple of kids who have super dry skin in the winter (as do I), and also we always have colds going around at some point with dry throats. This came at the perfect time, and I'm really surprised by how well it is helping! I'm really kind of kicking myself for not trying one sooner. The only thing that I don't like about this cool mist humidifier is that it makes noise. Now, I'm not sure if that is normal for all humidifiers, but it does have a water dripping from sink kind of sound. Not a big deal, but I'd prefer it to be silent of course. You can see lots and lots of mist coming out of it. It's great and effective. I received this humidifier free via Influenster, and I'm so happy I was chosen to try it. It's so great, I would definitely recommend it.

It's been awhile since I've actually used a Humidifier so I was excited to receive a new and better one. I didn't know how well this would make a huge difference in my friends baby's breathing cause he had a cold and on top of that he was going through some acid reflux he is only 8 months old too, so we put it in the living room on the bar area table cause just in case it did bother him I didn't want it to be so close to us, so I just had it like a a bit distant from us. It helps a lot with breathing and if you experience any sinus issues. I usually wake up with a dry itchy mouth sometimes, but now that I've had this humidifier it has been less of that situation and I couldn't be more happier. We are happy that it makes such a difference and helps us sleep better and waking up not having a problem. The product itself is very nice and big it is a nice humidifier. Pleasantly surprised at how well itworks for such a reasonable price. Particularly like the easy set up. A big plus is the top loading feature of the water tank. You can just pour the water into the top without having to drag the whole tank over to the sink for a refill. Notably more quiet than any other humidifier we have used.

I recently got this humidifier to set up in my daughter's room. She always struggles in the winter months with a lot of lung issues and I wanted to keep the room humid. It works really well. Easy to set up, I love the top fill feature. Large enough that it easily humidifies her entire room. No problems with functions. Great quality, good price. Very happy with the purchase. Works great, quiet unit , small footprint , easy to fill

I bought this humidifier to combat the dry air in my bedroom during the winter. After some initial confusion over putting it together I had it up and running fairly quickly. The first night I used it I noticed my breathing was a lot clearer the next morning and I wasn't nearly as stuffy as usual. My problem with the humidifier is the dripping noise it emits while it's on its higher setting. Sounds like a leaky faucet and I'm a light sleeper so it takes some getting used to. My advice: don't keep it too close to where you sleep as the noise can be annoying. Also, it does need care and maintenance fairly often if you want to prevent mold and mildew issues from developing. For the price though, this humidifier seems to do a good job of adding moisture to dry winter air.

A cool mist humidifier was new for me, however it did the job safely adding moisture to the room. The machine is very quiet, but there is the sound of water dripping or gurgling that you have to get used to. The included mineral filter needs to be replaced every so often. After 3 to 4 weeks of heavy use every day the volume of mist began to slow down. This was probably caused by the filter getting full and needing replacement. You have to control the amount of mist output or your floor may get damp near the unit. Otherwise it works great, is safe around young kids and is easy to use.

This humidifier is easy to fill and clean. It has a lot of parts to put together but once you do it, it's not a problem. It does gurgle a bit which can be annoying and waken you. I have to place a book in front of the light on the dial so as not to waken me. You can adjust the volume of the flow but not the direction. The mister only rotates 180 degrees, not 360, so you may have to turn the whole machine to get the mister placed properly where you want it. I like the filter, even though I use filtered water. I don't use distilled water because it gets expensive using a gallon every 2 days. The filter helps prevent "white dust" that you might get with hard water. Overall, a good machine. Let's hope it lasts.
