Humidifier seems to work ok but was hoping for better results. Some might not be bothered by it but it is loud.

I really liked this humidifier for the the 2-weeks it worked...even after properly cleaning it and caring for it. Its turned on, clean, demineralized and everything and isn't doing a thing! I'm very disappointed as I really liked it and thought it worked very well and was very quiet.

It only took one month for this item to stop working. However the manufacturer is sending a new one. A follow-up to come.

It worked great for one year, and then stopped. I wouldn't recommend this item.

Continual dripping a little annoying but even worse, it stopped working in one week. Surely Honeywell you can do better than this. On the plus side, very easy to fill and quiet operation, apart from the dripping of course.

I’ve been a fan of Honeywell products for a while, so I had pretty high expectations when receiving this humidifier. I was not disappointed. I love how small this humidifier is, the sleek design and the ease of getting started. The directions for getting the pieces in the right spot were very easy to follow. I love that I have options for filling the humidifier up with water. I can either bring over a pitcher or a cup full of water and fill the tank up where it stands or I can take the tank out and fill it at the sink. This makes it really easy to top off the tank. I have kept the humidifier on about medium strength and it lasts quite a while even while maintaining a visible mist. This small humidifier is particular useful for individual rooms. We have ours in the same room as our pellet stove, which has a tendency to dry out our skin and everything else. The difference is definitely notable. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. I tested my Honeywell® TopFill Humidifier for free, but all opinions are my own.

I've been using this item for about 4 weeks. Now there is no water vapor coming out. Everything is very clean, but it still doesn't work.

The good: cost-competitive; comes with auto shut-off feature; small form-factor The bad: poor design - h20 can easily spill due to the open top when accidentally bumped into; bad quality - water spilled on the base the first time i assembled it. The water sensor was properly latched, so don't know why. After re-seating the tank the h20 drip went away, but it died after 2hrs of use! just won't power up anymore. Emptied the tank, cleaned it up, then returned to BB the next day.

I cannot rave enough about this humidifier. The moment I opened the box, I was impressed. I have bought many humidifiers over the years, and this one does NOT look like a piece of medical equipment that sticks out in a room like a sore thumb! It is all black, sleek and rather stylish. It blends in well with my room and looks like it belongs. This is a HUGE perk! It also doesn't take those weird filters that require a lot of upkeep and tend to get gross and discolored. I'm a single mother and don't really have time for all that! It holds a great capacity of water and it's extremely easy to refill. I LOVE that it has a dial to customize the humidity level! Plus, it lasts all night and day. I truly love this humidifier and will not go back to he ugly white ones. Disclosure: I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

From the first day I used this humidifier it had a bad smell and can not find where it would be coming from. Also I do not like how the top is open.

I received this product for free for an honest review on it. Before receiving this humidifier, I had a cute looking cone shaped humidifier from target. It's cute, but its hard to fill, does not work as well, leaks and very very hard to clean and fill water. THIS one, is amazing! It's super easy to fill, easy to use, easily fits under the sink to fill with water or you can use a jug of water and fill! Two ways! It's very quiet and easy to adjust. I seriously love it! I love that it's black and blends into the room easily. It's perfect for winter. It's SOOO much better than the one I got from target. Yeah, its a littel cuter but it's now moldy looking inside and a pain to clean and fill. This one is 100x better! Get it!

We bought this for our baby room. It worked great with continued and constant use, but about a year in broke.

This humidifier is awesome! It is so quiet and offers a cool mist. I love that there is no need for a filter! And it is so easy to fill with two ways to do so! It says it has an average of 36 hours run time but I don't believe there is much of a need for it unless you're really really under the weather. It offers a attractive look rather than the old ugly ones. I recommend this to anyone who is under the weather and just needs to bring something out with easy set up! Not to mention virtually silent!

This humidifier was relatively easy to put together. I only needed help once when I couldn’t figure out where one part went, but overall assembly was simple (two parts need to be snapped in place), and I think it could have been easier if I looked to the back of the box instead of the manual first. Once it was assembled I poured water in the main chamber and cranked it up to the highest setting. I tried using the lower settings but it just wasn’t cutting it. I suggest the highest setting. This humidifier can hold 1.25 gallons of water, and that can last a really long time even on the highest setting. It’s not a bad looking appliance either. It has an average length cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet. My favorite things about this humidifier: -You can constantly refill it without having to stop the machine or take any pieces apart - it’s really something I had dreaded about humidifiers in the past, and I didn’t realize how much easier this feature makes life -You also can use tap water if you want to keep filters on hand. If you don’t, you can use distilled water (what most humidifiers need), but this is such a convenient feature. Sometimes you need humidity but you don’t have distilled water-honeywell to the rescue! -The sound is quite soothing. It reminds me of a babbling creek. This aspect of the humidifier is a double edged sword. Often I would find myself thinking that I left a sink on or that one of our dogs was weeing in the house. So be aware. -Other than the water sound, it’s quite quiet -Assembly was not too difficult -It automatically turns off when it runs out of water! No need to worry about wasted energy! -It doesn’t run off of boiling water so you don’t have to worry about this machine if you’ve got little ones running around. -Not too many buttons (actually none!) just a single dial for all your controlling needs. I think this makes it great for older people who need a simple and easy to use machine. -Adds just enough humidity to our house without making it stuffy, not sure how it would fair in bigger houses or small rooms. Haven’t tried cleaning it yet, but one week in and it still looks good! I think it’s a good investment, especially when you consider the two year warranty and the fact that you won’t have to buy so much lotion in the winter. Your dry cracked lips and skin will thank you. Unit barely changed humidity in a 15 x 12 room. I used it for 1 week, night and day with poor results. Digital Hygrometer indicated room relative humidity was 32% before using unit and never reached higher than 38% after running for 1 week straight. Also, this unit leaves a white powder everywhere even when using the Demineralization cartridge.

I followed the maintenance instructions which said to clean weekly with vinegar, but the humidifier stopped working entirely after about three weeks. I tried cleaning the membrane, scrubbing the tank with white vinegar, but nothing worked. I would avoid this product.

Yes, it works perfectly. Yes, it is quiet. But, why is there always a sound of water like dripping? I put it in my bedroom and I can hear it all the time. Are you serious?

We've been using this humidifier for nearly two weeks.. It has worked wonders for my husbands snoring at night! I bought a humidity gauge to test how it was working and discovered we had about 30% humidity to begin with. In an hour or two it was up to 54%. I'm so used to waking up with chapped lips I didn't realize how much of it was related to dry air. With the humidifier running, the chapping is gone. (And I get more sleep because my husband isn't snoring). It's very easy to set up and you can either remove the water tank and fill it at the sink or you can pour water in right at the top. It does arrive with a filter that's easy to install and suggests using distilled water (we just use water from the tap). One tank of water is supposed to last 36 hours but I think we get a longer use than that. The only complaint I have is minor. I wish there were handles on the unit itself because it's a really awkward shape to hold if you want to move it to another room. For those concerned about sound, if you have it turned all the way up there is a gurgling water sound. I think that's the loudest. The unit itself makes a very low hum. I feel like it's more white noise than bothersome but if you need dead silence to sleep, you can leave it on low. This product was complimentary for testing purposes. All opinions are mine. We loved it so much we got another one for the office. Worth every penny!

Read the directions, filled with water... 30 minutes later after turning it on, the carpet was soaked. It was either loose or did not properly line up. Only a bad review because mine was defective and had to be returned.
