This vacuum does a great job on tile and carpet. I use it in the kitchen to pick up crumbs and such. It impressed me because I got sugar in the floor and it vacuumed it right up off the tile. Not having a cord, means I can use it on a whim! Love it!

First about the vacuum. It comes packaged so that as you unpack the batteries and accessories an explanation of what to do and the sequence is printed right there!---and assembly is not cumbersome, but rather simple and straight forward. A two in one dusting and crevice tool (two separate tools that fit together for storage), a pivoting dusting tool, the head pivots so you could actually dust the top of a ceiling fan, an extra roller for dusting hard floors, it is soft and works great on hardwood floors, you also get an extra washable filter. The batteries come pre-charged, plenty to get up and running. I did the whole house (3200 sq/ft) and still had charge left on the 2nd battery. Two switches, one for power on and off and the other for brush on and off. The brush will stop as soon as the handle is in the upright position for like using the attachments. The pivoting head makes navigating very easy. The head is low profile. I can get further under the bed and dressers than any other machine I've used. Light weight, I think it's about ten lbs.. easy to pack around by the handle. The headlight (led) is very bright and quite a help in darker rooms; The dirt canister is a one button push to empty. The soft-grip handle is comfortable and works well with the pivoting head. Hoover did a great job, top to bottom and deserve five stars for innovation, packaging and producing a quality product! But, none of that matters if it didn't do a great job on the floors. It makes vacuuming fun!! The best of all features--No Cord!-----I just hate that bit of dragging a cord behind, not running over it, trying to find just the right plug so you can get to the greatest area with out looking for the next plug! That is the one thing that pushes this way over the top.

I have had this vac for a few weeks now and really like it. Several reasons: You get two batteries so you can always pop a new one in when the first wears down. It is light and easy to handle. It seems to be very very good with pet hair. In fact I am amazed at how much pet hair it picks up each time. It is easy to empty. Having no cord might seem like a simple thing but it is much more convenient and faster to use. So far, I love it.

I love this cordless vacuum so much I bought one for my parents too! It is lightweight, has great suction and two batteries. You can use one battery while the other is being charged. Long battery life and easy to clean bagless filter. I have chronic pain so this has been a lifesaver for quick clean up on all floor types. Similar to a regular vacuum compared to other cordless models.

Easy to use. Love the wireless convenience and that it flows with ease. Wow! With 2 batteries no work is undone! Has great suction power, though not as great when connected to hose/accessories. Happy customer.

I was looking for a cordless vacuum that was lightweight and easy to operate. I wanted the vacuum to be able to transition from hardwood to tile to carpet. In addition to those requirements, I wanted the vacuum to be easy to clean and have enough power to do the job. This Hoover met all of my requirements. It's a great machine and I use it all the time for my routine cleaning.

This model has many steps up on the Hoover LiNx cordless. Far better than most any Shark - in my opinion. Dyson is Dyson. If you can go for it and spend the extra few hundred. This is close enough for 99% of people. The 2 cordless batteries DO last more than long enough for full use. On mixed floors; hardwood and carpet, multi level house. Creative steering mechanism; it takes some getting used to but once you do the flexibility and lightness are 'incredible'. I will say my one issue is it does not 'edge' as well as the LiNX. But then again, if you need to edge the on board and included tools will do the job. Roller comes out to clean brushes easy, it's worth doing that every so often. Comes with a soft roller for polishing wood finishes it seems, looks neat. Great motor, easy to clean parts, filter is fantastic. I will recommend this one to my mother. The 5 yr warranty is crucial because it just is very powerful with parts, and its lightweight. So, I could see this one cracking somewhere eventually after a few years. The warranty sealed it for me. Best floor care to all.

Finally a company has out shown Dyson. Perfect weight; fantastic suction; an actual on/off switch - no more holding that trigger to run!); TWO batteries so can do all vacuuming at one time; easy to access hand cleaning. I am SO pleased to be able to stash my dying Dyson cordless and switch to a cordless with features that leave Dyson in the dust. (Can you tell I'm sold on this machine?!?!?) Price at Best Buy was great and shipping extremely speedy.

Great - Lightweight the extra battery is a Plus. Works like a charm. Bought 2 so far light enough for a wheelchari user to vacuum as well! good suction and easy to clean & maintain!

This vacuum received EXCELLENT reviews (way better than the Dyson cordless vacuum) and now I know why! It's lightweight but still powerful. I can vacuum my entire house (2k square feet-tile & carpet) on one battery w/charge to spare! 20+++ minutes run time (It comes w/2 batteries) It maneuvers really well around corners & under cabinets. It has a light which is great for dark areas. It also comes w/attachments which makes it a step up from a regular "stick" vacuum. It is definitely worth every penny! Highly recommend!!!

I have had a chance to use this vacuum several times and find it easy to use. The fact that you can steer it makes it easy to zip around furniture and into corners. Because it is cordless it is easy to just grab it to do a quick clean-up. It seems to have good suction and picks up a lot of things out of the carpet that our other corded vacuum didn't. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because of the hose/ hand held wand system: Basically the hose is too short to be used on anything higher than waist high. It won't reach up on a shelf, to a window sill or other higher objects. The way to remedy that would be for it to be manufactured so the clamp that holds the hose to the vacuum could be released for using the full length of the hose. As it is, you disconnect the hose from the head of the machine and attach it to the wand and then use it from there. The clamp holds the hose in place so it has to go from the middle of the unit down to the clamp and then back up to the higher surface you are trying to vacuum with the brush attachment. If you could release that clamp that would let the hose come up and give you a couple more feet of hose to work with. That is really the only complaint I have about this vacuum. (Hoover please take note and make that clamp so it will release.)

This vacuum is amazing! Its performance equals that of most full-size vacuums, its bagless AND its cordless. I particularly like the fact that it comes with 2 batteries enabling me to vacuum my whole house with power to spare. You won't be able to believe how much faster you can vacuum when you're not having to lug a cord around behind you all the time. I have another, smaller cordless vacuum and it's not in the same league with this little powerhouse. In addition to the extra battery it comes with an assortment of tools and another brush bar. Another good feature is how easy it is to empty, which you will need to do fairly often since it picks up so much dirt. You can use it for big jobs or small.

I have 3 small children and pets. I vacuum daily at the least. This vacuum is light, easy, cordless, always charged. It can go over tile and carpet without issue. I bought another for my aging parents it's so easy and awesome. I cannot recommend enough.

I buy lots of technology and I'll be honest, it doesn't take a lot to get me going about cool technology, but this invention of a cordless vacuum has to be one of the greatest inventions of the 21st century! To be fair, this vacuum needs the right use case for you to be wowed, so if you are trying to vacuum a 2 floor home with very thick carpets, this is NOT the right choice. But, if you have hard floors and some carpeting that needs a simple, cordless vacuum that just works, this is the one!! I absolutely love this thing and the fact that Hoover made the decision to include two batteries (one for backup) is pure genius!! They get the User Experience Excellence award from me! I love my hoover! We also have a heavy duty expensive Dyson that is hypoallergenic and handles the heavy carpets upstairs but I'm always grabbing my hoover for the hard floors and most carpets in our home!

Absolutely love it. I have three cats and one very large dog and hardwood floors. The hair is awful. This vacuum is user friendly; small, lightweight, powerful and no cord to struggle with. Stores easily too without taking up too much room. I run through the house almost daily and get up the hair.

Great suction in a small package! It's lightweight which makes it easy for me to carry up and down stairs. With wireless capabilities, I take this baby all over my house and get vacuuming done in a pinch! Love the 2 battery & light feature. I could not be happier with my purchase.

I'm glad I order this cordless Hoover vacuum. Its easy to move around. I like it because its cordless.......no more long cords. It cleans good specially on carpet and hardwood floors. It's so easy to go under furniture and I like how it can turn corners.....

I bought this as a backup device for mid-week maintenance, but quickly discovered that the vacuum is powerful and runs for a long time on a single battery. It routinely handles a 1,500 square-foot area that is all carpet, and could do the whole house quite easily. The only problem I've found is that it will operate intermittently if you pick the vacuum up by the handle, say to raise it over a step. This partially disconnects a safety switch, but the canister portion is very easy to detach and re-attach.

Love the cordless feature. I hate dragging a cord around. Has great power and the backup battery comes in handy.

Much more power than my previous dirt devil cordless. Battery lasts long enough to vacuum entire wood floors in house. Easy to empty. Great picking up dog hair.
